I am playing Gears of War. Will play Okami more this weekend. I'm about fifteen hours into that. Its good.

I'm not playing Guitar Hero. I'm not really into quick-time events.

I bought Lost Odyssey on Friday, and I'm played a few hours. It's very much a Final Fantasy clone, but its polished and I like the characters, so that's not been a bad thing. The battles remind me very much of FFX. The skill system reminds me of the job system, since shadowing my immortals under mortal party members allows them to learn any skills I pick for them to train at. It is a little tedious to switch through each skill to level them equally.

I really enjoy the level caps in the dungeons. It makes grinding unnecessary, and since the bosses are supposed to be puzzle-like with a definite right way to beat them, I don't have to worry about needing to kill 80 rats before facing the real enemy.

Shame you're wearing out on Gears already (seemingly) it's been fun. Halo was fucking laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame last night... idk when I'll be ready to play that again.

I wish I could have a free summer so I could finish all the RPGs I need to finish and start some honest-to-god new ones. I want both Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata (though, I think I might wait for the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata anyways).

I disliked the Eternal Sonata demo. Didn't really have an opinion about Blue Dragon's gameplay, but I hate Toriyama's art, so it didn't push me to give it any special consideration.

Exactly, we need a full room of people and we still need one of us hosting because like you said, otherwise we'll get booted in no time. It takes so damn long to fill those things up half the time though... we may need to sacrifice friendly fire in order to get some people into the games quickly.

Nobody can. You can just make a new one for each week if you like.
