As much as I love the X360, I have to say I'm utterly pissed off that I have to send it in to get it repaired again.
Basically sometimes the CD tray doesn't open, and I've tried opening it from the system screen and on the console itself. Eventually (3 or 4 restarts later) it opens.
It doesn't stop there. When I play a game, 4/10 times it will reboot automatically, and then go back to the system menu. To be honest I don't know where the problem is stemming from, but the hardware of this console sux. I've only had issues with my ps2 and psx (laser wore out) which i guess is more normal than this, so ye there ya go.
Anybody else had an issue with their console?

Not yet...
*Knocks on wood.*
Damn, that sucks. I'm glad they put a 3-year warranty on them. Mine's still a launch 360 which I haven't had problems with yet. However, I never had problems with my original Xbox, which had the notorious Thomson DVD drive which was known to break easily. Hopefully this one holds out as well.

Two-timer here myself. :p
My console gave me shit since day one tried to return it but they had some stupid policy on if they get it to work can't exchange even though took them 20 mins.
So it broke down about 6 months after buying it with RRoD. Then it was fine for most of the year. Started acting up at the start of this year, but would work sooner or later.
Had to send it in for repairs AGAIN at the start of April. Got it back like a month ago.

Hey! Don't bullshit yourself, you've owned/"purchased" 5 X360's before. Just because you bought that one and flipped it 5 days later for a loss of money doesn't mean you didn't own it.
Back on topic... I've had 1 get the RRoD before. I was last year, at the time I guess the 360 was about 7-8 months old, so that's fairly pathetic.

Our N64 sometimes crashed/hung. And the first Wiis would do the same if you changed the disc while playing a game. The only thing that worked was kill the power. I think an update fixed that.
