topic is now about the new Prince of Persia game

I enjoyed the Sands of Time. Anything more in that direction, and not metal-enfused arabian nights, makes me happy.

oh jake take me now

I wonder if it is backwards-compatible. It would be nice to play again before the new game releases.

I enjoyed the second one, never played the first. The third one was lacking IMO

Really? People hated Warrior Within. It's usually 1 > 3 > 2.

Well I started with two, so yeah that was my bar right there. Just didnt like the whole transforming thing and finding sands to replensih your constant health loss in 3. 2 had it but in a small dose, plus the whole thing where you pass yourself was neat.

You probably wouldn't like the first as much then as the 3rd took more elements from the first than the second did, I believe.

It is sort of like the Indiana Jones movies. The first was a really fun adventure. The 2nd took a turn to the dark and the 3rd tried to recapture the first with elements from the second not working as well.

Yep, Sands of Time was an amazing game. The combat scenes could be long and frustrating, but that is my only complaint.
I never bothered with the sequels.

Yeah, the atmosphere and everything from the first game was just friggin' amazing.
