Ok, me and BaB are talking on AIM now and he says Ketchup on a hotdog is good. That (to me) is the grossest thing ever. Whats your guys' opinion on this crucial matter?

Edit: to clarify, NASTY (IMO)

Accompanied by mustard, it's a heavenly delight!

I love it, in a small amount. I don't drown it in Ketchup like I've seen others do.

I don't think it's exactly nasty, but it's definitely not proper. Ask for ketchup on a dog in Chicago and the person will look at you like he/she is going to kick your ass just for asking. Mustard and "Secret Sauce" from Deerhead Hot Dogs in Wilmington, DE for the win.

I like cheese on my dog

I prefer nothing on mine, to be honest - though.
If I'm forced to pick something, I'll take a little big of BBQ sauce or something, relish, onions.

I've been putting ketchup on hot dogs since I was a wee lad... Infact, up until about 5 years ago, ketchup was ALL I put on hot dogs... Now I throw on a little mustard, cheese and relish to keep it company...

Next topic of discussion: Peanut Butter on Pancakes? Don't knock it 'til you try it...

Whoa! I've not tried that and I'm not gonna knock it either because that just sounds really good.

My neighbour puts HP sauce (a british meat sauce) on his pancakes.

A meat sauce? like A1 Steak sauce?

I've seen and tasted peanut butter on pancakes. Very good...Peanut Butter on most things is pretty damn good. Maybe not a on a steak, but still.

Also, malt vinegar on Fish + Chips is the best thing ever.

HP brown sauce is really good. I think it's different from what is shown above and I really only saw it in the UK.

Ketchup is like a masking agent...it hides a lot of food's taste. If I'm eating a nasty non-beef or non-kosher hot dog, I tend to pour tons of ketchup or mustard on the dog.

But yeah, long story short, I do enjoy ketchup on my hot dog, especially with onions or pickles or onions and pickles.

Ketchup isn't my first choice though, not by a long shot. I'm a mustard man. Also...onions, sport peppers, pickles, tomatoes, relish...it's all good. I like my hot dogs Chicago style. I also enjoy a good chili-cheese dog, but that's like two meals in one.

But yes, I do enjoy ketchup on my hotdog.

Deerhead Hot Dogs? Is that what you named your Daschund after? Hahaha, it all makes sense now.

Anyways - I'm starting to outgrow Ketchup but I don't mind it. And there's nothing better than Cheez Whiz + Ketchup on a hot dog in the right proportions. Mmm.

I won't eat a hot dog if it doesn't have ketchup and mustard on it.

And I love HP sauce. Well, any kind of brown sauce, tbh..

I like some ketchup on my hot dogs.

Also BBQ sauce is always a good choice.

Chili dogs thanks to Sonic. :p

Totally nasty. I'm not much of a ketchup guy anyway (unless it's with something super salty like fries). Mustard all the way. Nothing like a couple beef Wranglers with jalapeņo mustard.

Yep, got me. We thought we were pretty clever when we came up with the name as little kids...

Little ketchup, little mustard, little relish. Subtract any of those and it is incomplete. Add chili or cheese as you will.

Peanut butter pancakes are my constant.

Mustard and relish when possible. Absence of either, and ketchup takes the place of both.

Also, diced raw oonion and baked beans on hot dogs is awesome.
