I think we may have had a thread on this before, but who knows.

Anyhow being that it is bright and early on a Sunday morning and there isn't a damn thing to do at my job. I did all the important crap already figured would spam GT for the hell of it.

just curious what everyone's morning routine is. does it change on your days off or hell does it change day to day?

8:00 - Wake up, shower
8:30 - Check email, pack my bags for school
9:00 - At school
12:00am - Leave school, eat dinner
12:30 - Sleep

Hopefully I can change that this summer. Would like to add breakfast and a workout to the morning routine.

Depends on the day, if I have practice I wake up around 9 AM, eat some cereal and drive 10 minutes over to practice at 10 AM...Days where I don't have practice I might sleep until 10:30 or later and then do whatever.

Your classes are a consistent 9-12am Monday-Friday? That's awesome.

I don't really have a morning routine because I'm between school/into job. But this is an example of what I'll be doing next week:

8:00am: wake up
8:05: Put on shoes and walk to running route
8:40: Get back, shave, shower, teeth brushing
8:55: Grab something if there's something to eat and leave
9:00: en route to work
10:00~: Yes, it takes an hour or more to get to my job.

And that's my morning. Sometimes I do a longer run. Sometimes traffic is terrible and I don't get there for a while. God I hate Vancouver. When I get back into a real job, I will most likely be working at 9:00am and this will all shift back an hour and I'll be on time every day.

No, I had 3 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Tuesday I had 4 classes, but they all started at or around 9am. I went to school at the same time, if I had class or not. It's the nature of having semester long group projects, you just spend all your time at school so you can work together.

Weekdays:
I wake up and have a gulp of water from a bottle. After 5 minutes or so I get out of bed, turn on my computer and go to the bathroom. Pee + wash + clothes. I pray for my breakfast, turn on some music and open my browser. I make and eat my breakfast. Maybe some tea. I read my mail and/or GT. Then I do whatever I need to do.

Weekenddays are mostly the same. I'm often more busy in the weekend than through the week, so I have to go a bit faster and sometimes skip the computer.

Lol, no showering? Efficient though, I like it. I, on the other hand, need to take time and 'wake up' before I go to work.

Weekdays:
6:45: Wake up
6:50: Eat food
6:50-7:45: TV
7:45: Morning puzzles and brainteasers to get brain going
8:00: Shower, Teeth, etc
8:30: Leave for work
~8:40: Get to work

Weekends:
I don't like waking up too much later because it usually messes up my normal schedule. So I only sleep in until 7:30 and then replace everything after "Eat food" with "Play video games"

Too lazy to post times since it varies based on day.

Since I work 7pm-7am 3 or 4 days a week (every other week), my days are backwards from the Norma. When I wake up, usually between 1 and 2pm, I get ready for gym. There for about an hour or 2 a day, try for 5 days a week.

Then cook chicken breat, make up my dinner for work and leave between 6 and 6:30. Stay's pretty consistent. On days off, try and get outdoors and hit Wabash Trail if it's nice and not too winndy.

Also days off will vary on going to friends place if they do something.

I have a physical job, so it's seemingly redundant to get all clean and nice smelling before I get to sweat for 8 hours.

wake
drink 4 glasses of water, usually a lemon water to start things off.
Squeeze 2-5 oranges and a grapefruit for that fresh fuck ya taste.
Eat breakfast, consisting of coconut and fruit.(usually mango or banana)
Read for atleast 15 minutes then I go out for a jog or jump on trampoline.
Make a hemp seed protein shake with cocomilk powder and rice protein.
and on to whatever the day has in store.

Oh god I hate group projects (usually). Its not that I hate working with people per say, its just so hard to get everyone to agree on times to meet, and it seems like I usually somehow get grouped up with idiots.

With group work there are always a few worthless, lazy people. I used to be one of them, but I've changed. One time I rewrote almost the whole report, because 3 girls couldn't write proper Dutch. Or any language.

My morning routine fluctuates based on what time I have to wake up, and each week has about 5 different variations. Damn college schedule. Hopefully after the summer I will have a more consistent wake-up time.

Usually, I wake up an hour and a half before class.
-I sip some coffee/drink some water or OJ
-I check my email and double check my homework
-I turn on some music and go to my typical Internet sites
-If I'm feeling motivated, I shower. If not, I throw on some clothes grab my iPod, and head to class

If it's the weekend, I follow a similar routine except instead of heading to class I prepare to do homework, usually in front of the television. Unless of course I go out instead.

He didn't say what he showers in. Maybe he showers in wax. That would make an effective clothing. :sneaky:

Well, when I actually have to wake up for work in the morning (which is more frequent now) it goes a little something like this:

10:00 Alarm goes off
10:06 I get out of bed
10:12 Into the shower
10:28 Get out of the shower and get dressed
10:34 Leave the house already 4 minutes late for work

I'm not making up these precise times, it always goes that way even though I don't intend for it to.

6:30am Alarm goes off, hit Snooze button
6:39 Clocky goes off, literally, of my dresser and typically hides under my bed
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZZ_n6WT-1Gs&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZZ_n6WT-1Gs&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
6:40 Catch Clocky, press Snooze button
6:49 Clocky goes off of my dresser and typically hides under my bed
6:50 Catch Clocky, press Snooze button
6:59 Clocky goes off of my dresser and typically hides under my bed
7:00 Catch Clocky, press Snooze button
7:09 Clocky goes off of my dresser and typically hides under my bed
7:10 Catch Clocky, press Snooze button
7:19 Clocky goes off of my dresser, by this time I tend to catch it before it hits the ground
7:20 Put Clocky back on dresser, press Snooze button
7:29 Clocky goes off my dresser, hides under my bed
7:30 Drag Clocky from underneath my bed, scratch my hand on the bed frame, and press Snooze button
7:39 Clocky goes off my dresser, hides under my bed
7:40 Drag Clocky out, press Snooze button, and contemplate how ridiculous I am yet powerless to wake up in the morning
7:49 Clocky goes off, I catch it, and finally decide to get up
7:50 Check Woot, and other random sites
7:55 Shower + etc. bathroom things
8:30 Get dressed
8:40 Eat breakfast
8:50 Turn off computer, get all my pocket stuff (wallet, phone, keys, etc.)
8:51 Leave for work
9:00-9:15 Get donuts and/or go to work

And I am so completely serious about each and every one.

I was amazed that you only take a 7 minute shower. Showers are like my coffee. I would not be able to function in the morning or at school without having the shower. It's a real soothing way to gradually wake up. I usually take 15-20 minute showers. I probably just stand in the warm water with my eyes closed for a good few minutes.

But on Wednesday I overslept and had to take like a 6 minute shower. It sucked. I stepped out and felt cold and was still half asleep.

I take longer showers in the winter and during the school year. During the summer when I'm working I usually cram a slew of morning activities into a brief period of time so I can maximize my sleep and still barely make it to work on time. During the winter I'll sit in my shower for 40 minutes, especially if it's a snowy day.
