It was okay. The story moved kind of fast after he became Spider-Man officially but otherwise it was good...

Some friends asked me, so im like, meh, OK, I will go...I wasnt expecting much, but I actually enjoyed it. It was a lot better than I thought it would be...most of the CG effects looked pretty good, except near the beginning when he is jumping from rooftop to rooftop...storyline was meh...ending was meh...but when you see spiderman web slinging around the city, well, its pretty darn spectacular.

i thought that "the scorpian king" sucked because it was nothing compared to what i expected it to be.
********Small Spoiler**********
i thought it was going to be like the background to the scorpian king from The Mummy Returns, but it turned out that it had nothing what-so-ever to do with egypt!
and it was pretty confusing some times...but i guess it wasnt all that bad...i liked the fighting scenes and...umm...yeah, thats just about all i liked...ohh, and the naked sorceress:D  :D

...... That's funny.... Cuz...

84% good reviews overall... 83% good from the major publications...
That's not bad at all... I agree with the reviews that say it's a bit lacking in the story area, it's basically just like oh no spiderman, help the people out! Look out, it's the green goblin! You must save him ooOooOoOOoOO!!
But it's just supposed to be a "fun movie" and I liked it... I saw it on friday :D

Great movie. I saw it on Friday night. It was really good, although I missed the middle of it. Damn women always wanting to make out with me. :stud:
I really liked all the parts with the Green Goblin, and I think that the guy who played him was really good. I didn't like the part when the Green Goblin arose from the balloons in that little gathering. He looked really, really plastic there.
All in all, it was a great movie. I will probably end up watching it again to pass time until Episode II comes out.

As for the movie, I probably won't see it in theatres, but I'll no doubt rent it, when it comes out on video.

I saw it twice already, I really enjoyed it. My friends didn't though. They thought a different villian would have been better.
That is gay though. Green Goblin is a great introducing villian because he really gets in Spiderman's head. My friends are kinda dumb though. The CG effects were really sweet, but he looked really funny in the beginning jumping from roof to roof. And, isn't it funny how no one sees him while hes swinging in the beginning and he hits the wall? He was screaming and all...

Just because they don't show it doesn't mean nobody saw him...
I like Green Goblin as a villlain too. Willem Deofe was a good choice for that role...
I hope they do at least one of the symbiotes in the sequel. EIther them or Doc Oc.

I saw it on friday at 3:10pm, I thought the movie was great, lots of the effects were really cool. There were only a couple things i didnt like. Anyways, yeah, spiderman grossed a wopping 114M in its first weekend, beating Harry Potter(90.4M) by 24M.

Ha! I saw the movie last night!! I loved it!!! It was sooo much better than expected! I thought it would be an average movie only nice for the effects, but it was so much more!!
Perhaps it's because I could really live into the character of Peter Parker. I'm kinda like him. In some ways. I'm just a little less shy than him and I don't walk / stand 'funny' like he does.
I really loved Kirsten Dunst too. I've kinda liked her since Jumanji and she was great in this movie.
Just wondering, in the end she knew that he was Spidey, right? Cause after the kissing and what he said... :)

I'm with Angrist. I loved this movie. That wasn't really the ending I was expecting or hoping for though  I think we need to see Venom in the next movie. :D
I hope this move doesn't spur a bunch of cheap super hero flicks. Like The Hulk

Funny, that movie made me tear a few times. Probably when his dad died and when Mary Jane told him that when she almost died it was him that she wanted to see again. :)

I really liked it. I thought it was going to be corny ala Scooby Doo or something, but it was really cool.
Mmmm Kirsten Dunst :stud:

Gotta have this one on DVD! Perhaps a bargain, don't feel like paying €60 for those movies. :(
