Challenge 6: Spies (Everyone Report in)

This won't be a popular decision and may change it after speaking with Swan, but due to the nature of this challenge, I am willing to make everyone participate. For reason that you will see in a second, if anyone has major objections let it be heard. I know it isn't fair, but I am curious of the stuff we will get.

Due to the late nature of this thread, the challenge shall go till Monday at 3 pm EST.

You have proven to know your enemy through knowledge and through disguise.

This time however, you must prove your ability to hide yourself among your enemies. You shall dress like them. You shall talk like them. You will become them.

You must become a spy. And in order to do so you must be a master of disguise. For this challenge, you shall dress up as any video game character and take pictures to show proof.

Be creative young soldier. Sometimes the best way to blend in is to make sure you stand out.

And to make sure it is a game character you must provide some proof. And no dressing as characters such as the Sims or Miis which is just a game version of yourself.

I can easily (and appropriately) get a Mario costume put together. I still have most of the pieces from halloween before last.

Hmm I can't think of much at the moment. Maybe a Tetris block, since that pretty much only requires cardboard boxes and some spray paint that I have laying around in the garage.

I could probably do J.C. Denton (Deus Ex) as well (who incidentally works for a fictitious organization called UNATCO - United Nations Anti Terrorist Coalition).

I've been thinking about what characters I could do.

I will definitely get Pikmin (hopefully with my brother also dressed up for double points).

I think I forgot my Jedi robes when I moved to Wisconsin, so I won't be able to dress up as Obi-Wan.

I should be able to get a pic as the ninja from Ninja Gaiden.

And I know the BaB said we couldn't be Mii's, but if I Photoshop my picture so that I don't have any arms or legs, we might get a point for that?

I'm still trying to think of some stuff, but I got a busy day tomorrow, so we'll see if I even get the pics above...

dont worry about jedi robes, i dont think obi wan counts as a video game character anyways, I wont be home for most of the day tomorrow but i might still be able to do some more, but seriously guys try to at least post one each as a worse case scenario, go for easy things if you dont want to spend money (i used a freaking blanket!). Easy things (like the solid snake idea you mentioned) would take like 5 mins of your time so I'm hoping to see at least a try from all of you on this challenge, we cant quit while we are ahead.

I'll do my best. My Mario costume was sent to Goodwill last summer I guess. So I need to go shopping now (so poor!). More after a bit.

Tony Hawk has like 10 games named after him, why would he not considered a video game character?

I see no reason why that wouldn't be allowed. Just because they happened to be in a movie or comic book before they were in a video game that disqualifies them?

I don't see the photo of you in costume. Or are you talking about your avatar? Also, your pac-man ghost photo disappeared! EDIT: They're back now. I guess it was a problem with imageshack.

And no where in the rules does it say we can't use video game characters that were first movie or cartoon characters.

I'm sorry I wasn't any help. For what it's worth, I did try. Mario costume hit $30 and I balked at spending any more on it for a one time occasion.
