Rooster Teeth's new series: Reconstruction

Rooster Teeth (the people who brought you the Red vs. Blue series using Halo 1 & 2) today revealed their new series using Halo 3, Reconstruction. Here is the trailer:

I'm personally not very impressed. This trailer tried to be extremely serious, and RvB's appeal was always its comedy. Hopefully they don't get too far away from the formula that worked for them previously.

I actually just saw this about 30 minutes ago, I'm a bit thrown off by it too. The trailer seems all serious but I have a feeling that when the series actually comes out it won't be serious. It's RvB so I have faith anyways.

Did you guys ever watch RvB: Recovery One and RvB: Out of Mind? Both were more serious stories set in the RvB universe and I at least felt they were rather good.

Even though their original and still strongest attraction for me is their humor, they do drama fairly well.
