View Full Version : Goddamn I love golf games.
I won't deny, I'm probably the biggest Mario Golf nerd here. I fucking love the game. I need We Love Golf to come out like right the fuck now.

While it's not as pretty as Hot Shots Golf 5 is, it works I guess. Speaking of, Hot Shots Golf 5 is out next week. Woop Woop! I just wish Open Tee 2 would come out soon.

My interest has risen since the inclusion of online play and Zack.

So when a gamer retires he just plays golf sim games ? :p
So, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds is fantastic. If you have a PS3 I'd venture to say that you need it if you like golf games even a tiny bit. I don't really like the new swing system at all so I just stick to the old one, but I'm still loving it.

I also love the Hot Shots Golf series along with the Mario Golf series....Still don't even have a next-gen system though.

I'm a Hot Shots Golf NUT. I borrowed my friend's PSP and the HSG game for that system when he went to Europe last year, and I played the hell out of it. I would boldly say that I am in the top 2-3% of all HSG players, I couldn't imagine someone being much better than me. Got 'S' in all of the statistical categories and my best round ever is -24, or possibly -25. I think -24 though.

So basically what you're saying is, I should buy it?

Tsk.. You're friend goes to Europe and you take his portable gaming system away from him. :)
And to stay on topic.. I like golf games but not as much as the posters in this thread - I'm content with Wii Sports Golf :)

Yes, so we can play online. :D The online is surprisingly robust. I can't wait to do a 50-man tournament.

Dyne, I'll let you know when I pick it up. May not be for a while...

He offered it to me...said he wasnt taking it with him, wanted to know if I wanted it for a couple months. I would have been a bad friend NOT to take it. I said to him "OK I will...but only for you."
Probably a true story.

lol, nice story :D Funny how you buy a portable system and don't take it with you on a trip.
Speaking of portable systems, I like taking my PS2 when I go on vacation - I specifically look for hotels with tvs :)

So instead of exploring all those boring new cities, you can play on your PS2 like you do every weekend! :D
When I go on vacation, I need a book. On the campsite last summer, I read Dune (well, most of it, I finished it at home).
A GameBoy is nice, but I usually don't have any new games for it, so it becomes boring.

I've never played any of the Hot Shots Golf games but the latest one has caught my eye recently. I may have to give it a try.
