A truly epic song only made more epic by Cellos...

That was pretty lame for two reasons that I won't spend too much time elaborating on. One: they were cello players, Two: that song is lame.
Actually, that song isn't lame when used in a comedy context. Namely, Arrested Development and Gob. By they way, Arrested Development is everything that being lame is not about, so I highly recommend it.

So you thought they were serious in the video?

I guess. When they started getting all head-banging-serious I kind of thought they were joking, but the look of embarrassment on the face of a few players in the back row didn't make it a dead give away....I guess that's what I get for watching it at 4 in the morning. Oh well, you an Arrested Development fan, Professor?

Arrested Development is one of the finest things on this Earth.

I catch on reruns when I can. I always enjoy it when I do watch, but for some reason its never made it on my "must see" list. Odd, because I do recognize its genius, but I guess its never really pulled me in.

Arrested Development is a show that you really should watch from the first episode to the last without skipping anything between. There are so many references to past and future jokes that you can easily miss something. I didn't get pulled into the show until 3 or 4 episodes into the first season, but the show is addicting. I don't know if it is a "must see" but I think it's some of the best comedy since Futurama ended.
It's easy to complain about the shows cancellation, but maybe FOX immortalized Arrested Development by canceling it so early. Most shows start to suck after just a few seasons.
Anyway...sorry to hijack this topic, but whenever I hear the final countdown I think of Gob.

Same here, and I'd agree with everything else you said. I've rewatched the entire series from the beginning just to catch all of the jokes and references that I missed the first time. It's pretty damn brilliant. If it isn't a "must-see" then I don't know what is. It just might be my favorite TV show of all time. Season 3 wasn't as good as it could have been but with all the episodes being cut and the show canceled, it didn't really give the writers much of a chance.

I've heard those rumors....and I don't know what to think. I'm always hesitant when a sitcom goes to the big screen. I'm not sure exactly how it would be executed...I'd almost rather Mitch Huritz come up with another show and start fresh rather than retry something that might be hard to pull off in the feature length form.
