Motherfucking snow day! Woooooooooooooooooop

This is probably the best snow day ever because other Tuesdays I have two world lit classes and a five hour break waiting for another tutorial in "speculative design".

This shit is jump-roping.

WOOOO.
Work cancelled.
The productive things I have done thus far:

-Gotten the car stuck in the snow prior to knowing work was cancelled
-Threw my cats into the snow and proceeded to watch the hilarity ensue
-Snowball fight with my brother (This is the perfect snowball snow)
-Laughed when my brother said "I really love these balls."

Meanwhile I'm sitting on a brand new $700 snow blower and its snowed all of one inch this winter in Reading...

I'm so pissed.

Enjoy it, boys! :D

My dog was hopping around like a rabbit in the snow, and when i went to make a snowball she'd jump over and eat it first.

This has been a pretty average snow year so far for me. We probably had one snowfall that was over 6 inches, the rest have been pretty minor...

In other news, a packed snowcone with hawaiian punch poured all over it is DELICIOUS.

I mean, I like hawaiian punch by itself, but DAMN.

How much snow fell? Because if it's a foot or less we'd never get off school and that makes me jealous.

We've had a Blizzard warning down here near Rochester, MN since this morning. I got to leave work early, so that's awesome.

So far this is the first winter in like 20 years where we haven't had one single serious snow day. :(

Yeah. the only serious snow I've seen so far was about 6-8 inches back in December in Vermont. Had some last week in our tour out to Chicago/Ohio, but nothing major. I'll take some more, but not this weekend because we have shows and I don't want to drive.

Yay, shoveling snow.

I get my snow day tomorrow though:)

About 8.5 inches where me, Dylflon, Dyne, Swan and Fox live.
This morning when everything was cancelled there was only about half a foot.

Its raining here.

But there is snow on top of our beloved Mt. Diablo.

Yeah, 8.5 inches, but one of our commuter trains derailed this morning. And the wait to get on the skytrain platform, let alone the train, was half an hour. People took 3 hours to get in. Currently they're trying to get home and I don't even want to think about that kind of circus.

But yeah, good times.

A friend and i went out for a bit and we drove past a guy that was doing donuts in the middle of a non busy street. Then we gave him the thumbs up as we drove past.

YEAH PHIL! SFU CLOSED!!!! WOOOOOOO!

This was great because I've been sick and didn't get much sleep last night. Would have had to leave for school at 7:30 am and wouldn't have gotten home until 5-5:30 pm. Woke up to find that school was closed. Went back to sleep for 3 and a half hours.

Let's hope we get snow day part 2 tomorrow!

I got yesterday off because on 1" :D

It's crazy, Redmond doesn't have plows, so if there is snow on the ground in the morning, they close school until it melts.

Our school is on top of a mountain. So if one foot fell here close-ish to sea level...the mountain is infinitely worse. They close the school when getting to campus becomes life threatening or impossible.

Dutch schools have 1 free day scheduled for ice/snow every year. When we don't use get to use it because of lack of winter-fun, kids get the day off in spring.

Goddamn.
I woke up to go to work today to think the snow would be melty - but there was more.
And now the car (which is still messily parked thanks to me getting it stuck yesterday) is still stuck, now with a fine layer of ice and snow covering it.

Ballsack.

Hahaha, I hate my campus. It's still open today, yet Burnaby is closed. Stupid, stupid surrey.

Luckily the one class I had is cancelled. Woop!

Big snow headed to the Illinois/Chicago-land area. We've already had our fair share of interesting weather, starting off with big storms in January. There were like 30 tornadoes or something today. I'm expecting tomorrow to be white.

Just be happy your getting snow. I've gotten all of 1 inch in my area and its raining right now in early February and about 60 outside. I blame Al Gore. ;)

For real. High of 68 today with thunderstorms in Southeast PA...What the hell? This is April/May weather.

I want one good Nor'easter as long as it's a day where I have nothing to do but stay inside and watch it while drinking beer and watching movies.

It snowed like crazy today and I got stranded at school. In order to escape I had to walk down a mountain. For realsies.
