:aust:

Ok I don't want anyone laughing at us Australians in this thread. We have the most beautiful country in the world (well 2nd most beautiful compared to Italy) and all Australians must pay the price for living in such beautiful sceneries.

Therefore the GC launch in Australia has been pushed for the 17th of May (Midnight Launch @ Midnight), instead of like 10 years ago in Japan. Yup, it's a HUGE price to pay, but we've come this far, so we can't complain now!

So there is exactly (in Sydney time) 15 days left, and some minutes............and a few seconds

Wait let me ask a few people just to be sure............

:lurk:

Ok they seem a bit busy.

I PREORDERED MY GAMECUBE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I finally did it. I preordered one for my brother too. I'm getting......

1) Rogue Leader II
2) SSB:Melee
3) Super Monkey Ball
4) Fifa 2002
5) Waverace

Have I made any bad choices here guys? I rely on your expertise in gameplaying!

My bro is also getting 2 extra controllers. We are sharing the games, so that we don't have to buy all the games to ourselves.

So all you Australians (GrimReaper and TGA) let's celebrate in this significant leap in Australian videogaming.........

*opens a few bottles of shampagne*
*showers the crowd*
*downs a few beers*

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*collapses from a mixed range of intense simultaneous emotions*

yup. It is. There's so many games to choose from. It's easily the best launch out of the next gen (except DC).

Oh wow u got on the website.

Is that your cube on the website?

I'm still waiting for the Australian launch. It's so rigged. We have to wait another 2 weeks!!!!

I'm so pissed.

I'm so pissed. Yeah that's our Cube and that's our floor! :D I was supposed to go together with this line: 'Good to finally see the Cube in our living room!' Oh well.... :D

You sure are lucky with SSB:M as a launch game! You'll even have it earlier than us Euros!!

Yeh but I'm still without a Cube.

I'll be getting one on midnight launch, then go to work the next day.

Is Luigis Mansion worth getting?

I was gonna get Super Monkey Ball, but part 2 is coming out, so I might wait for that one.

Super Monkey Ball is a great game, but if you want to wait for the sequel... *shrugs shoulders*

Yeh. I hope it is. I'm expecting it to be there on May 17th @ midnight.

If it isn't, I'm gonna have to kick up a big whinge. Maybe they'll chuck in a free controller for the emotional trauma it would have caused me

Me and my bro saw Pikmin and SSB:M boxes (cases?) in a store, but they were only adverts, with the release date on it.:(

Hmm... that fan sure is noisy when you want to play late at night with the sound muted. I'll just cover the vents with some masking tape... there!. That's a little better!

P.S. Rogue Leader is friggin' hard.

P.S. Rogue Leader is friggin' hard. The fan is there for a reason... but it is noisy yes! :(

And yeah, Rogue Leader is soooo hard!! I've been playing it for 2 weeks and I only have 2 gold medals! :( And haven't found all the upgrades yet! :(

I have one silver, and a few bronze... not much else yet. The only upgrade I've gotten is those Proton Bomb upgrades from that Razor Rendezvous level by shooting that 'special' ship down.

Oh and Ice, try finding holes in crashed down ships where you can fly through ;), plus holes in buildings in a TIE fighter level that you have to play after 6 PM ;) plus holes in old wreckages. ;)
