Console: Mass Effect. - I am almost convinced this is the single best all around game ever made. It has an excellent shooting system, its RPG elements are deep and balanced, the universe is huge and full of mythos to research for those interested but its not necessary, the story so far is outstanding (no spoilers please), the voice acting is the best I've experienced in a game and the music fits the tone and design of the game perfectly.

Mass Effect is THE reason to own a 360.

Change Up Game - And I play a little Halo 3 every now and then. Thats not a slight against it, as its a great game, but FPS's in general have a hard time keeping my ineterest as I get older.

PC: Evil Genius - I've played this game off and on since it came out, but for some reason its recently grabbed a hold of me. It's a better looking and deeper Dungeon Keeper (for those that remember that game), but instead of being the lord of a fantasy dungeon, you are the villian in a James Bond-esque world who must defend his base against the agents of good. Its cheeky and very deep game, not to mention extremely difficult and infuriating at times as your minions literally seem to have minds of their own.

Change Up Game - None. EG takes up all my PC game time.

So, what about everyone else? I'm sure some Wii games will top the list.

Does Evil Genius have anything to do with Real Life comics? It sounds very similar to a storyline they had once several years ago...

Anyway, I'm playing Mass Effect. Its like Knights of the Old Republic, only awesomer.

I play... not much. I've been so busy, that I've only played a little bit of Civilization IV and TLoZ: Four Swords Adventures (which is much longer than expected).

Ok people, follow the template. Say what you're playing, and then what you THINK of it. Its pretty boring just to see that Dark Master is playing Mass Effect. Whoopee. My life is enriched. Damn lazy people. :D

BTW, for those curious about Evil Genius, it's available for download at Direct2Drive.com and for only $20 its a steal with HOURS of gloriously frustrating gameplay.

Civilization IV is a decent game, but not really 100% my type. I love the part where I build cities and take land, but I hate the part where I have war.

I already said that TLoZ FSA is longer than expected, but it's also very decent fun. Nice 2D Zelda action, although it has its annoying parts.

Mass Effect, Uncharted, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Bioshock.

Actually, fuck, I have a lot to beat that are close to beaten. Except for Mass Effect, that game is gloriously long.

Started Bioshock, then Halo 3 co-op campaign. I also hadn't finished RE4 on Wii (never even played it on GC), so there's also that. I usually play FIFA 08 online, and when I want something different, a few races in Forza 2's campaign mode. So I'm playing through a ton of games.

I also have MP3 and Mario Galaxy, but I'm not going to touch them until I've finished Bioshock, Halo 3 and RE4.

And damn, how I wish I had bought Mass Effect when I had found it for quite cheap.

Well, I finished Super Mario Galaxy with Luigi and 121 stars - I really wish it was longer. I finished the Orange Box which was fun, but ultimately quite short as well. Mass Effect is waiting for me. I've only played ~6 hours or so but I'm really sucked in. I'm currently working my way through Expert Drums on Rockband - about halfway through at the moment.

Aside from that, I've been playing a lot of Exalted (Pen and Paper RPG).

Well, over break I finished my first play through of Mass Effect... I plan on playing through it again over the summer. It was a good game, no doubt, but it wasn't quite as great as I thought it might be. Personally, I prefer the two Knights of the Old Republic to it, but it is still a good RPG.

I also played about half-way through Eternal Sonata, which is probably the first quality Japanese RPG for the 360. That's really what it is, a solid Japanese RPG for the 360, and it's good to see.

I've also played a lot of The Orange Box, which is really the Game of the Year in my opinion. Portal totally surprised me as being a smart, innovative, and in the end fun game. Half-Life 2, Epsiode One, Episode Two are also three quality titles. I haven't even gotten to Team Fortress 2 yet, but online class shooters are always interesting.

Currently playing World In Conflict for PC, which I love love love. Its a really cool story, takes place in 1989 when the Cold War was suppoused to end but didnt. Highly recommended to anyone who likes strategy games at all, I just wish it ran better on my system. I also still play the occasional round of Team Fortress 2.

For my Wii Ive got 110 stars in Mario Galaxy so I will have that complete soon enough. Probably the greatest 3D platformer of all time. I mean sure not as ground breaking as Super Mario 64, but a flawless platformer overall. Also playing some Guitar Hero 3 but not as much lately as I suck at it.

I hope to soon dive into Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS, but now that school is back up again my time is more limited...

I hope to soon dive into Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS, but now that school is back up again my time is more limited...Ah yes, I have that waiting for me too. My sisters actually (almost) beat it before me. But it's their DS, so that's fine. I'll need a few weeks of vacation to play it, because they won't lend me their DS. :p

Oh and I want to buy SMG, but I have no time for that either... Growing up is such a flipping waste of talent.

God, I have a terrible case of video game ADD. I will start a game play it for a week or so then for no reason start another game. So I have about 20 games I am part of the way through. I tend to go back to them every now and then. Right this moment I am playing Mario Party DS and Dragon Quest 8. As well as a little Front Mission for the DS

Really? As a gamer who had a love affair with KOTOR I'm suprised by that opinion. I'm only on Feros and its already blown away both KOTOR games in my opinion. The mix of shooting and RPG elements alone has changed the way that action RPG's will be designed in the future, IMO. And FINALLY I can hear myself talk in a dialogue heavy game!

Glad you enjoyed it, though.

I recently purchased The Witcher for PC and have been pleasantly surprised.

It's kind of an action RPG leaning towards the RPG side. The combat system is interesting. A little shallow, but just fine. I wish the magic system was a little deeper as well. But, the graphics are great, the story is great, and the content is a little more mature than usual, which is refreshing.

I also just got Super Swing Golf 2 for Wii as a belated X-mas present.
It's pretty good. Loading times are not fun. It needs a little Anti-Aliasing. But, it is nice to play a couple holes now and then. The swing controls are pretty good. Better than I expected.

I'm still playing Supreme Commander for PC. I'm totally addicted that game. Fantastic game, very chaotic and challenging. Not for the light-hearted.

Hmmmm, games that I've started but not yet finished:
RE4 (Wii)
Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii)
SSX Blur (Wii)
KOTOR2 (PC) It's locking up in the same exact spot, I'm so pissed
Neverwinter Nights 2 (PC) So close to finishing it

I've been renting it from BlockBuster. I love it also.

But I can't beat the mission where you have to help that robot destroy the garbage with the aid of bob-bombs.

Perhaps the most infuriating factor of this mission is you only have 30 seconds to complete it. If I had unlimited time, I could do it for sure.

But c'mon, 30 seconds? And how does this tie into the plot to make a plauisble, realistic story. Wait, let me guess: If I don't clean up the garbage in a timeline of 30 seconds, the Evil King Black Hole will destroy the Mushroom Kingdom once and for all!

And perhaps the biggest kick in the face of all, is that if you don't complete it in 30 seconds, Mario dies and you have to try again. Why he dies is anybody's guess. I guess they figure everyone who plays this game is also too high out of their minds to notice in the inconsistencies in the story in terms of realism.

Sometimes, I'm convinced I could pull better story developers out of my arse. I mean, are these people heavily sedated and under the influence of pot 24/7 when they make these games?
