PC'ish?

No Way! Max Payne looks PC-ish...blocky characters, beautiful textures...that's PC'ish...

I was talking more along the lines of the City not the people.

That's probably because the development team simulated London, with actual landmarks and stuff...and the textures are amazing...

So, in this case, PCish is a good thing...

Aye I thought it was London been to a couple of those places myself ;)

Looks better than GTA 3 I admit however if you want to be picky about graphics its actually not that good, it could use a good texture mapping and :

look at that lovely 3D window *cough* Thats the price you pay for a big 3D environment such as this I suppose, which brings me on to my next point.

I have played games that simulate the city of London before and been very disappointed at their complete inaccuracies and the scaled down map. Will we see a proper living breathing London, will I be able to drive one of the many cars I see past my brothers house? That would be cool.

Oh and if a guy on the main streets of london that close to the MI5 building was weilding a gun he would be dead in a second.

 HANG ON........ that isnt London...... theres no Pidgeons (Rats On Wings) anywhere.

lol Ric, they have forgot the pidgeons!

Apparantly this game is made up of 25000 photographs which have been used to create a more realistic london... I saw a McDonalds in a screenshot a while ago, and there's a nice picture of Jessops there!. St Pauls cathedral looks pretty good in the screenshot too, been to the top of there more times than I can remember :)... I doubt the game will strech as far as Streatham though (Where I used to live)

As some may know, I live in London. And I must say the backgrounds look fabulous, really detailed!

Only problem is the road :p Then again, this game is still in development. Some of the additional features in the environment are pretty meh. But this game seems to be shaping up nicely!

I looks like Maxpayne and GTA3 rolled into one :D
