It happens to everyone. There is something that is just critically panned across the board, but you see it different. Somewhere in your heart, you find a certain unique charm about the game, something that just makes you enjoy it.

So what is that deep dark game in your past that you enjoyed when no one else did?

Doesn't have to be awful can be mediocrore.

Edit this post with mines soon.

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2. That game is the epitome of mediocre but I loved the atmosphere and sucking the blood out of people never gets old.

I loved both Shaq Fu and Superman 64.

I loved Shaq Fu for the sheer novelty of it. It was so bad, it was AWESOME.

But dude...

Superman 64?

No really...

After an excruciating 30 minutes torturing myself by playing Superman 64 one day, the earth open its maw to reveal a thousand eyeless crows who heralded the coming of the Pinhead and the Cenobytes. They were coming to reveal the ethereal realm where pleasure and pain are indistiguishable from one another...

While perversely curious by their enticements, I burned the game and had the N64 exorcized. My soul remains pure.

Anyone remember McKids?

It was for NES. A damn game based off of McDonalds. I found that I played it quite often though.

Hmm, that terrible Die Hard game for the Cube.

Soemthing about it was so much fun. Though it was barely playable

I can't really think of many. Maybe Jurassic Park for the SNES and GameBoy, but I think they're pretty decent games.

I don't really remember how poorly Pokemon Snap! was reviewed, but I enjoyed the hell out of that game for the 2 hours it took to pretty much complete everything possible. Seriously, it was fun.

Yea. I played that all the time as a kid. I picked it up and started playing it the other day. Suprisingly hard.

Monopoly 64. Probably the lamest game ever but mix that with a Gameshark and you've got yourself hours of fun.

South Park 64. I loved playing it with friends. The fact that you could shoot a 1,000 pound cow out of a tiny gun and have it sit on Mr. Macky's (or whoever's) head until they died = awesome. It deserved horrible scores though, if just for the great draw distance or "fog" of about five feet.

That was considered a bad game? I LOVED that game, if only for the cowapault. To this day there is no greater "prestige kill" than suffocating someone in a cow's ass.

I am.. a sucker for super heroes and beat em ups so for the most part, I enjoy those even though they usually get panned.

Talking the bads ones though like the 3D turtles game and the new Spiderman: Friend or Foe.

Not the awesomeness that is Turtles in Time and stuff.
