But it's only a crossbow shooting game that comes with the Wii Zapper.

Say it with me now -- BOO-URNS. Way to whore out your Zelda franchise even more, Nintendo.

Wait, how much will this game cost? If it's $30 for the game and zapper, then I will happily support the whoring.

I wonder how hard it'd be to make a Wii Zapper Lightgun Housing Controller Peripheral out of say, empty rolls of toilet paper...

It's only 20 bucks.

I don't think it's a bad idea.

Except I don't remember Link ever using a crossbow.

And would of just been easier to make like a Wii Hunt type game that used your Miis.

Wii Hunt wouldn't have sold here in Europe, we/they think hunting is cruel.

I think it's a pretty good choice.

Fuck that.

This sounds just as lame as Tetra's Trackers did.

I just hope it's not something you'll play once and never again. But I doubt Nintendo would release a crappy game, especially a Zelda one.

And hey, it's practically for free with the Zapper (which is just a plastic mold... the game might cost them more than the zapper).

It's duck hunt on the Wii. Who cares about what the setting is?

You guys are making way more out of this than it is, both the good and the bad.

Probably why he needs some training...

Is this the part where we all realize that the current leader of the 'console warz' has begun a process of churning out craptastic, gimmicky games in lieu of worthwhile, expensive games that push graphics to the limit?

You forgot to finish your thought with "and are a huge risk that provide limited reward."

Nintendo is smart, and read the marketplace better than I thought. They are producing tightly designed, but simple games that are fun and don't require a huge investment in time or intellect*. They have cornered the casual market by regressing (for lack of a better term) games from the borders of high art to the base pleasures of "fun". Thats not a slander on Nintendo by any means. They are a business and not a non-profit philanthropic organization. The Wii allows them to reduce development costs while raking in a high profit margin.

Its just smart. And I want one.

*Before anyone starts yelling about Zelda or Metroid, my omments are referring to Wii Sports and the like. After all, that is what really pushed the system sales.

I've got to say there are very very comments that make you laugh on the internet..

But I actually laughed when I read that at work.

As for Strangler, I kind of agree with him.

On the same hand, I hope Nintendo has the mentality many of the 3rd parties have against them but use their simpler projects to create bigger franchises.
