EMERGENCY MADDEN HELP!!

I have entered a Madden tournament at my work that starts at 3pm today, and I have not played 2008 yet. If anyone has any bug exploits, tips, tricks, or suggestions, please let me know ASAP! I don't want to embarrass myself... :(

first time i logged into gametavern today...easy there

run the ball...i've always been able to run it but this year it seems like everyone can. run it, and key in on stopping the run...unless you're up against those guys who throw every down.

Thanks for the effort, but it was a little too late. I ended up making it through two rounds, but I lost in the semi-finals. Not too shabby for an old head gamer who never played Madden 08 before.

The structure was 2 minute quarters because of time constraints, so my strategy was to put together long drives that would take up nearly an entire half of play. It worked out pretty well, too, as I won the first game 7-0 and second 22-0. I lost the semi's 32-11.

In the last game, I was more a victim of chance. I lost two fumbles on running plays and my opponent made some miraculous catches in double and triple coverage. All in all, the better player won, but the score was more lop-sided than it should have been.

I was happy with my showing.
