EDIT: Oops, Abram denied connection to ethanhasswasright.com...although slusho.jp is still connected to the movie.

Also, Ain't It Cool News founder Harry Knowles claimed to have received an email from J. J. Abrams, stating that the Ethan Haas websites "have nothing to do with us". In this email, Abrams acknowledged that 1-18-08.com was created for the movie, and implied that other "Cloverfield" related sites exist, but that they have not yet been found.

I like it because I don't understand it, therefore I will see it...

I dunno, I havn't been bitten by the never-ending-nonsensical-mystery-thriller-TV-show bug that has been going around as of late (or the past couple years)... With it being produced by the Lost fella, and introduced to the public in a manner such as this, I'd say it probably caters to the people who have been...

The statue of liberty head was a nice touch... I've never seen a prominent US landmark destroyed in a monster/alien/whatever movie before...

Apache Pilot #5: [after accidentally hitting the Chrysler Building with a missile] Oh! Damn, uh! That's a negative impact, sir! I repeat, that's a negative impact!
Mayor Ebert: Negative impact? That's the *******ed Chrysler Building!

Sure there's more.

There's a new trailer out, shown before Beowulf. I haven't seen it in theaters, but it's available at the link BlueFire posted.

Looks promising, but there's a 1 second part in the new trailer that shows some kind of monster, which disappointed me a lot - it looks like Godzilla. Ever since I saw the first trailer, I've been praying for this not to be a Godzilla movie. I still hope it isn't.

Heroes season 2 has been improving.
It sucks will be cut short due to writer's strike.

Yeah, I was worried there for a while. It was so bad I was fearing imminent cancellation of the series.

Oh, and incase you don't want to see Beowulf to see the trailer:

It was alright. I wouldnt go unless you can see it in 3D. The graphics are pretty cool, very neat to look at. There are some funny cheesy parts. I wont go into details but let me just say "naked man" and "carefully placed arm/steam/sword/." But yeah 3D is the way to go with Beowulf.

Just when you thought the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815 were finally going to be rescued...

... fate takes a cruel twist!

LOST: Season 4

Critics are already hailing it as the greatest piece of television to ever hit the airwaves.

Roger Ebert calls it, "an experience that will change your life forever. Likely to go down as the greatest story ever told by mankind."

Because of the secret, deeply hidden 'Batman vs. Superman' teaser billboard that is visible somewhere in the first 5 minutes of the movie? (http://www.slashfilm.com/2007/12/18/batman-vs-superman/)

How did you like Beowulf?

horrible horrible movie
the bastardization of an awesome epic poem

the animation was horrible, it's sitting around a low 70% or something on rottentomatoes which is proof that critics suck

Yeah. When we receive a print it comes in reels (about 30 minutes of film each) rather than all together, for various reasons.

Anyway, we have to basically, well, tape the reels together. To make sure we did everything right and such, we watch the movie before we show it to the general public.

So not only did I get to see it two nights early, but I got paid for it. :)

That is not such a fun job.
I remember I had to break it apart when I was at school.
long and tedious. We had old equipment.

Then one day the whole thing got tangled. Spent a weekend fixing.
