Is that a car available in the game? Not funny..
No, it's the danger of having a detailed car outfitter.
Hahaha, they were asking for it.
..I mean the makers of Forza 2.

It's guaranteed to offend, so... not funny.

Thats so general that it literaly works for a 1 million other things.
Im on the fence here. I Mean that in perticular is very offensive, but how many other customizable games or other things out there that let you make/draw something that somebody finds offensive? Its not the developers fault that a small percent of the customers will do something moronic like that. I can see thier viewpoint of trying to add in many factors that will make a good game, and it seems kinda stupid to blame them for what others will do. Would you blame a car maker just because some idiot gets drunk and kills someone?
Im not fully for this, sure they could gave made countermeasures to stop this kinda thing, but what can you do?

I voted funny.
I think it's hilarious.
The general shock value of playing the game and seeing "Ship those ni**ers off" on the car beside you would have me rofling all over my pants.
I did a little more investigating on this, and the user who created the car has stated it was a joke and he is not a racist... or so he says.

Well, it is freedom of speech, so, if it does offend you, it's your job to find a way to deal with it.

Stop the "freedom of speech" crap, if it's discriminating, it's illegal.
By the way, couldn't you do the same thing in Mario Kart DS? How did that go?

No.
If it's discriminating, it's still freedom of speech. If they act on the discrimination, then it's wrong.
If they say "**** jews", it's their right to hate jews, if they so desire - for whatever reason.
If they carry out a genocide, or start segregating jews from a bus, store, or gathering, then it's wrong.
Don't act like you choose the laws, or like your way should be the right way.
Without freedom of speech - of any aspect - we lose one of our major rights as people.

Hahaha.
I think that car isn't funny whatsoever.. if you want to see funny use of the N word you need to watch Dave Chapelle.

Now the above is what you call offensive, on every level. :) Anyways, just thought I'd share my randomness.
The Clayton Bigsby skit is hilarious.

the difference between acceptable comedic racism, and not acceptable comedic racism, all rides on if the maker of the joke isn't white.
So I've decided to cut that middleman out of the operation, and just focus in on the humour factor of what is being offered at any specific time.
If I laugh at it - it thusly becomes funny.

Give me a break. White comedians play on the race card all the time.
This isn't comedic racism, it's simply racism. It's designed to be offensive, and the only purpose it serves is to be offensive. The only thing that is funny is when he gets banned from Live.

How can you tell it's meant to be offensive?
Can you travel through the wires, into his mind to find his motives?
To say it's simply racism when you don't know why he made it, who made it, or any of the like, seems a little hasty to me.
I think the purpose it serves is not only a shock value of "lol", but to show how easily someone can take advantage of the customize option.
So right there, it appears that the only purpose it serves, is in fact - not to be offensive.

How can you tell its not meant to be offensive? Every post you seem to give your "opinion" that its not meant to be so, but you have no more proof to back up your claims than anyone else.
The only real fact here is that this thing will offend people. And there's nothing more to make of it.. This car is the only impression anyone here can have of the guy. Its like meeting someone for the first time and the first words to come out when he shakes your hand is, "Well, I'm glad you aren't a ni**er. Hahahaha!". What's the first thing you are going to think about the guy? His intention may have been to be funny, but that's clearly offensive.
If you find the car to be funny that's your opinion, but common sense should tell you that what makes it funny in the first place is the fact that it is offensive. He made it that way to get attention. Kinda like Chapelle. There are tons of offensive jokes out there...
It seems like you're taking it as if something can't be both funny and offensive at the same time.. like they're two different extremes. Tons of people are offended by Dave Chapelle, but that doesn't mean the same people can't laugh about it. Just because something is meant to be (or is) funny doesn't mean its not meant to be (or isn't) offensive.
You can find this car to be funny all you want, but if you keep denying the fact that its offensive.. Nobody's going to agree with you. There is tons of ways he could have taken advantage of the customization and been funny without being offensive.. but he chose going the route of being offensive to get attention. And that's exactly what he got.
You can say his intentions were to be funny all you like, but his method of trying to be funny is clearly offensive. Period.

I read the thread.
I also read what Bond said:

Ty, you kinda missed the point buddy.. He intended for it to be a joke, and what was funny about it was its offensiveness. He probably didn't want people to bug out about it, but that doesn't change the fact that its offensive. Now you can defend the guy's character all you want, but it doesn't change what he did.

But you're just stating the general fact that most things funny for shock value are indeed offensive, which I'm sure 90% of us know already.
If it's meant to be shockingly funny, it pretty much has to be offensive - or else it's not shocking.
I didn't miss your point at all. I was just saying yes, it's offensive, but it's a light-hearted offensive. Sure it's bad, but it's comedy - a fine line of comedy - but comedy nonetheless.
