What's wrong with some developers? They seem to think that because it's the Wii, it's ok for games to have crappy graphics.

We all know the Wii can do better than this. Even some GameCube games had better graphics!

yeah, just lazy developers. Wii must not have a bunch of built in "make it look good" filters.

I would just like to point out that the SS of Harry Potter 5 you picked is a bad one. I totally agree that all-in-all devs are being lazy with development.

It's because developers, and consumers, see the Wii as a cheaper alternative to the other two big console contenders. They are catering to an audience that supposedly thinks "hey, I don't care about graphics, otherwise I would've bought a 360/PS3". So why would developers spend more time and resources on an area of their games that its core audience doesn't care about? They wouldn't, and as you can see, they clearly aren't.

Or maybe they are lazy and they're just saying f*ck it.

Well, graphics DO matter to a degree. I felt Rayman: Raving Rabbids wasn't as good as it could've been because of the serious degrades in quality. There should've been at least some moderation in the graphics.
