This is driving me crazy. What would be the onomatopoeia for a tea kettle whistle? I know in Japanese comics it's "pii" but that doesn't transfer over well methinks. Any ideas?

I always hear it similar to a fire alarm.
But don't know how you make it sound...
something like
"aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
I think

"Kettttllleeee"
it reminds me of this comic that says "I made a machine that makes the noise onomatopoeia, but I don't know what to call it."
