Really good show. Plays on the FX channel here in the states. Bought season one and two on an impulse after hearing a colleague talk about it. Of course, I would only go for TV on DVD. Rid yourself of commercials and censors. About a house of firefighters in post 9/11 New York City. Most of them have lives that are screwed up in one way or another. Deals with their lives at the firehouse and outside it. Either season 3 or 4 is currently being broadcast.

Curb Your Enthusiasm:

Somewhat like Seinfeld, made by and stars the co-creator, Larry David. An HBO show which means there's no restraint on language or content.

Arrested Development:

Funny show. The plot is far out there but the ensemble of characters keeps that from being an issue. Not sure if its as funny as The Office but maybe its just a different type of humor. I'm still in season 1.

I watched the first couple episodes of season two and REALLY enjoyed it, but never kept the streak up and lost track after missing a couple...I'm pretty sure that is the last series I actively tried watch every week
