Well GameSpot has gone the way of the money seeking site and pulled a charge for "the works" service at their site. Article (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/stories/flat/0,11963,2862235,00.html)
So I chose to make a poll inspired by BJW. Which would you choose (given they are the same price) in the poll above.

Well as long as I can get all the major news from IGN and gamespot, then neither.....
but if they ever take something major like that and make it insider/gamespot thingy only, then I'd probably go with IGN...
I don't really care since I get all of the press releases in e-mail, but some of the features are nice to read.
I think if they fired that Satterfield guy or whatever his name is they would be much better off.

IGN because:
-It has better reviews
-It has better previews
-It gets videos for almost every game faster
The only thing I will miss with Gamespot is the video reviews.

IGN Insider. This is because IGN was the first place that I heard of for Dolphin news. Ever since then I have been going there. I go to GameSpot sometimes... But I just like IGN better.
But I am not subscribing to either. Waste of money.

Gamespot. I like their reviews and previews better than IGN's and I like the features too.....

Like I said, you are being put against your will to vote.

It's 11 to 2 in favor of IGN... makes you think how Gamespot will do with monthly fees. (even IGN almost died because they made insider)

How so? Is someone going to come to my door and demand that I pay money to either one of these sights?
Don't think so, so I'm not picking either.

When I say this I mean if you had to choose. You dont have to in real life.
You see...there is this thing called reality...and a thing called fiction...one day they had an argument and they said "We're not going to be the same thing." Of coarse disney made a follow up movie. Big hit...good rating...no oscar.
I'm not paying for either, but if I was going to choose one I'd go with IGN.
Isn't this kind of unfair since Gamespot 'Complete' isn't even out yet?

Yet the article explains most of the features and whats more even more then the listed will be discluded from non members.

Still. You have to try out both to make a fair comparison.

In this thread its the same as insider...OK! So, this thread is really a news story of Gamespots money making machine, and a poll of which has better content, IGN, or Gamespot.

Well, I'll have to go with Insider since I already got a damn subscription to them, and I don't think most of their news will be on Complete.

Who said most of their news? Much of their special content might be.
