I know my threads usually don't get many replies, but did anyone watch Day Break? I just downloaded all 6 aired episodes and I love it.

Did you see Groundhog Day? About the guy who's stuck in the same day? This is like that. Detective Brett Hopper is being framed for murder. But every time he goes to sleep, he wakes up in that same day. As he tries hard to find more clues to who set him up, he discovers this pit is a lot deeper than he expected.

The sad thing about it.... the show got pulled. Some say it's because the prominent interracional relationship (black Hopper with a white girlfriend [am I allowed to say black/white in here?]), others blame bad viewing figures.

I just hope they'll slap it on a DVD fast... I want to know what happens.

Edit: after some surfing: http://www.tv.com/tracking/viewer.html?sls_id=6012&ref_type=101&ref_id=58017&tag=updates;title;0
"Day Break," ... will, however, make its way to ABC.com by the end of February...So yay, looking forward to it.

Can't say I watched it, but I saw the commercials and thought it looked laughably bad... Infact, I believe they played the commercial before a showing of Borat I went to, and people in the audience were indeed laughing...

Yesterday 4 new episodes have launched online at http://abc.go.com/primetime/daybreak/index.html .

It just sucks that I can't watch them (USA only), so I have to wait till somebody rips them and puts them on a torrent.

I could tell from the previews that this show would not make it for the same reason Tru Calling was cancelled - there's just too much repetition. The nature of the show forces them to start every single damn episode with the guy waking up in his house. There's just no way that could last.

Well, I liked it him waking up. :) They were very carefull not to show too much repetition. Like when he wakes up without waking his gf, she says "I like you wakening me, now I missed all the good parts". She says it once or twice, then he tells her. ;)

Not a big deal or anything, but I just like it.

I finally finished the series, I love it.

For all those who started the series: the later episodes are much better than the first ones... and they can all be found online (for Americans) here: abc.go.com/primetime/daybreak/index.html
