I got a PS3!

Okay so I was in my local gamestop tonight to get the 10 dollar DK jungle beat with extra bongo controller. Some guy walks up to the counter and asks if they have any PS3's. They said yea actually we do, an I looked up and sure enough 2 of them above the counter. I made an impulse decision and bought one. And I was planning on selling it for mucho profit...but look on ebay. One 60gb version just went for 665 dollars, thats only 20 dollars more than I paid for it after taxes! I mean I knew the prices would have fallen by now, but I never imagined this much...

This really pisses me off, I was all excited to make some quick cash...I will probably just take it back to the store now, ive got my reciept obviously.

Ouch, man. Yeah, there's been a ton of reports on how they aren't selling for the last two weeks. My friend still has a launch unit that hasn't sold.

Now if it were a hot commodity with good games, that'd be a different story.

This is so unbelieveable to me. I mean its not a problem I have the reciept so I mean I'll get a full refund, but...wow.

I find it amusing that, after all the PS3 hype and such, Wii now appears to be fetching more of a profit than PS3's on eBay...

Haha, sorry Jason. I was hoping to make some cash but I didn't even get as far as obtaining one.

Right now, I'm thinking about eBaying my Wii. Haven't finished Zelda yet but at this point I'm really only waiting for Smash Bros. Of course, now that Christmas is over, demand for them has most likely dropped.

Na ebay demand quickly falls off after a launch. Everyone who was deseparate enough to pay big bucks has already done so. I bought a PS2 about a week and a half after it came out and was still able to make a couple hundred dollars, but ebay quickly became so saturated with them that the price fell quickly after that.
