Well, I had to do a Mission Statement for my Career Studies class, so I'll just post it here because I am bored. And please feel free to post your mission statements as well.

"Tomorrow's just an excuse away"
--- Smashing Pumpkins, Thirty Three

This quote is taken from a smashing pumpkins song from their third album. This quote is saying that tomorrow is just an excuse away. By this, we should never say that we will do something tomorrow, because when tomorrow comes, we will just keep on pushing it back. This quote is important to me because it helps me do things in the present, and I do not wait for things in the future to happen.

Always love to live, and live with love. We should all be happy that we are alive, and that God has given us a wonderful body and chance to fulfil our many dreams. Also, we should not live carelessly. We should live out lives with love and care. We should love out surroundings, love our friends, love and family and love everything that we have been blessed with.

Live by the Book. So many hours of our Catholic lives have been devoted to living a Catholic life. For the past ten years, about an hour a day has been spent in school on learning about the religion that we believe in. We should embrace our religion and try our hardest to abbey the Ten Commandments, and to do what Jesus tells us to do in the New Testament.

Try your hardest to succeed. If we succeed in the things we do, life will be better for us. We should all try to try our hardest in projects, work, etc. We should never do anything half-heartedly. This is because what we do in life reflects the type of person we are. And if we succeed in life, then we are great people. Success does not necessarily mean monetary success, it means success in life and treating others well.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. This is also touched upon in the third statement, but it is important enough to be a statement its own. The only way that we can reach peace with others in out lives in by treated everybody equally well, and treating everybody the way that we would want them to treat us. We wouldn't want anybody to talk bad about us, or disrespect us, so we should not do that to other people.

Never take anything for granted. Respect everything that you have. You are lucky that you live in Canada, because there are many other countries that have very poor living conditions, and we should be glad that we are not living there. We should also not abuse the things we own, because we are fortunate to have most of life's little extras.
