Okay guys, time for something serious!
Do you cry? Often? When's the last time you cried? Why? Do you cries when you see emotional movies???
I often have to cry, but when there's someone around I hide it. Like when we're seeing some kind of drama film that's supposed to make you cry... everyone in the room feels it, but nobody shows it.
I wept a lot when I read The Lord of the Rings. I even think I wept more the second time than the first time, dunno why, I knew what was going to happen, but I still cried!
What makes you cry??

heh heh
Some peeps are too immature to view this thread. :D
The last time I cried was at my lil Bro's funeral.(1997)
And before that it was when my momma used to whop my ass. (about every day before December 31st 1996 :p)

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I cried. I did cry a couple of years ago during a very moving sermon at a church event, but I can't remember specifically why and I haven't really cried since then. I do get kinda watery-eyed when I watch a sad part of a movie sometimes, and when I listen to some sad classical music, or when I'm thinking about my life . Other than that....
When I get kicked in the nuts :D
Sometimes when I get really pissed off , and I mean really pissed off :mad2: I either smash things or people up... or I cry... I cry tears of anger though, not tears or sorrow.
Just under 2 months ago when my dog died was the last time I cried :(

I cry when I am in a huge amount of pain
Although, I haven't cry since... umm... 2000. That is when a close friend committed suicide.

Hmm... I don't think I cry when I have pain. I would shout, but not cry.
Don't you guys think it feels kinda good to let out your emotions?? Like when you're alone, and think about something??

I really cry only whe something really BIG happens. Of course something bad but it has to be big....
Otherwise I just look angry or yell or whatever....

I cant remember that last time I did. Though I know it was at a funeral a few years ago. And I really dont get all emotional in movies...unless its a comedy, then I cant stop laughing.
Crying is just another emotion as much as anger or humored. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Crying isn't an emotion. Its a reaction to an emotion....
I cried when my grandfarther died.
And most recently when Seamus Blackley left the Xbox team. :(

That's what the medical community likes to call depression

Definately crying feels good, unless its during a class or something and in the middle of a lecture you just start bawling(sp?). Otherwise, its good releasing emotion. I just don't do it very much...dunno why...

I meant it as sort of expressing the emotion. i.e. Turning red your mad, or having a smile on when your happy.

Sometimes I cry for no reason at all....I mean I would be lieing down on my bed..and then I just get sad all of a sudden ( I don't know why I get sad, I mean I'm happy most of the times, and I certainly don't be thinking depressing thoughts), and then I just feel like crying and I'm like WTF?
Hmmmmm....I hope I'm not pyscotic.
The last time I really cried(for a reason) is in 2000, I think , I was going through a tough situtation and a good cry made me feel better.

I don't know about whether you are psychotic, fingersman, but your use of grinning smileys while talking about crying may be disturbing to some people.
At any rate, I last cried after a particularly vicious teasing session in second grade. Since then, I haven't so much as shed a tear although Sept. 11th depressed me (which in many ways is worse).

Well, Sept 11th was very depressing for me. I mean just imagine being stuck in school with no idea if everyone you know was ok.
The last time I cried was when I found out my friend lost her father because of that attack.

When do I cry? Alot really. Usually when something is really Depressing. It dosen't have to be a major event, but just depressing. I cried after the attacks on September 11th, and unday I cried afetr a very emotional Episode of "The X-Files", which is probably the first time i've cried after that show, and I cried at the end of the "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" series finale.
I cried when my grandfather's died, less than a year apart, and when my favoirte actress died, you probably wouldn't even know who she was, but I looked up to her, maybe some people who still remember the original "Mighty Morphin' Poweer Ranger's" cast would know who she was, but no one else. Oh, and no, it wasn't her character, it was the actual Actress.

What are you? Some kind of emotion-less robot? That itself is disturbing and I hardly believe it for a second.

I didn't cry after Sept. 11
I dunno, I'm in California, maybe it just doesn't affect me that much. It made me angry at the Afgans, but I didn't cry over it. I don't think that makes Xantar an emotion-less robot.

Stupid actually, the opening scene of The Lord of the Rings (the battle of the Last Alliance) made me cry/tear/wet my eyes, while the scene where Gandalf (or Boromir) died didn't. I guess that's just because I already knew the book. The opening scene was just so... cool. :)
