Get stuck anywhere, I guess ask here :p
I have a non-spoiler question that my mind seems to not comprehend. When I try to go find the boys mom to get the fishing rod, WHERE IS THE MOM?! I've looked everywhere except probably the one spot I can't think of...

She's the pregnant woman who lost her baby's cradle and needs it back. She'll give you the fishing rod after you return the cradle. If you need more help, I'll check the thread later. I'd rather not give more help than you need.

Next to one of the bridges there's a plateau above you (the one where the guy trains you to Z-Target and talk) - scale the vines on the side. Head up there, and keep jumping until you get to the last plateau - there should be another patch of grass here. This one will call a bird to you. Target the bird at the monkey with the cradle and let it go. It'll soar down and return the cradle to you.

I'm four and a half hours into the game, just beat the first temple. I'm pretty impressed so far. If this keeps up I'm looking at a 45 hour game. <3

Wow, anybody else getting really frustrated with the second Star Mini-Game in Castle Town? It's freaking difficult even with the Clawshot shooting me all over the place.
I haven't found the horse yet.
What?

I hated that part. Go to Death Mountain and have Minda teleport the giant steaming meteorite like you did with the bridge earlier.

Does anyone know how to get to Snowpeak? I beat the fourth dungeon and went to Telma's bar and got the little mark telling me where it is on my map, I just can't seem to get there...
Also, does anyone know how to get the barrel of springwater from Kakariko Village to the Goron near Castle Town without some enemy hitting it? Is there a trick to it or what?

How the hell do I beat the three shadow monsters in the Faron woods near my home?

You have to kill one of them just normally, and then the other two you have to kill at the same time otherwise the remaining one will just revive the other two.
You do that by holding down the B button. A circle will surround you. You have to contain both the remaining monsters in this field and then let go of B. Link will kill both of them...

I haven't gotten very far in this game, but is it true you have to move the Wiimote every time you want to perform a sword swing instead of just pressing a button? Seems like that would get old real fast.

You only have to kind of jerk it, you don't have to swing it around, you know? Its hardly more effort than just hitting a button, and it becomes just as natural after a while.

Nah, shaking it is natural to me now. I'm kind of glad they didn't include sword swings yet.

Agreed. The flick-style controls felt a bit clunky until after the second temple or so - just took me a little time to acclimate.
Although I did have a bit of trouble trying to play today - I've got the flu and my heart would race every time I tried flicking the controller. So I gave up after a bit.

I'm in the first dungeon. I'm with the stupid monkey. He got in a fight with the baboon who then cut one of the bridges. I don't know what to do now.

You need to free four monkies and they'll help you across.

Just go from room to room.
The first monkey will help you swing to get to places as you've already discovered. Just try going to rooms you haven't gone to before. If you can find a monkey behind a locked door, there's a key in the same room to unlock it.
If you need more help, I sent you something in a PM.
