hiooooooo?

i'm happy, detroit is one team that i am not fond of.

it's funny how no one cares about the world series unless their team is in it. it's also funny how every new york yankee fan is a biatch.

I am here! It has been quite a good year for me in sports. First the Steelers, now the Cardinals. Funny, both teams were counted out halfway through the season, but both teams ended up winning. All I really need to say though is this:

The Cardinals finally had some good pitching in the playoffs( the hitting still wasnt good), and Detroit played BAD baseball. Lots of costly errors.

Oh, that and Kenny Rogers cheated.

Oh, that and Kenny Rogers cheated.

lol. that was pretty funny. but nah, cardinals pitchers use the stuff too, plus it pitched even better when he washed it off. that was a non issue.

basically i was detroit fell apart, had no motivation anymore, and the cardinals got thier act together.

im not a baseball fan at all,(couldnt even stand to watch an entire playoff game fully through) but from what i've read, it was the worst world series, with the 2 worst teams to ever make the world series. lol.

Thats bogus. If cardinals pitchers or any other pitchers use that stuff too, why havent we seen it on any of their hands. While its true Rogers was great that night with or without it, LaRussa couldve gotten his cheating ass kicked the hell out of the game. I guarantee you that. The only reason he didnt is because of his friendship with the Detroit manager. They go way back.

because most dont put it on thier hands like that. they hide it on thier glove or under the brim of the hat. then wipe a little on the thumb with a tip of the hat.

they were talking with some of the st louis announcers and they even said they know some of the STL pitchers have and do use it. its widely known that a LOT of pitchers do. its not the little they put on thier hands for extra grip they're concerned about, its when they put a glob on the ball to make it do funny things. thats why they didnt kick him outta the game and just had him wash it off instead. because it was very little, a thin patch on his palm.

if he had been using enough to effect the game, he would have been kicked out of the game, and the STL staff woulda made a BIG to do about that. i guarentee you that. friendship or not, it was the world series.

Sorry Germy. I've kinda got board with GT and just kinda faded away. I've started lurking again though. Who knows, maybe I'll find something to post about with some regularity.
