yeah, they said placeholder textures (still a year from release, so I'm not worried)

I'm sure they are teh textures from halo 2. Obviously they are not the same textures on the armor, as the trailer we saw. That's why it looks like a high res halo 2 . It really could pass for a XLive download for 2 if no one specified.
