Baten Kaitos: Origins is out

And man is it good. It's better than I thought it would be.

My only qualm is that I don't want to continue playing until I beat the first one, but this one is really a prequel, so I wonder how much of the foreshadowing I'll be missing.

The battle system is way smoother than before. It's just all-around way better. I played for about 3 hours without saving at the games room at school and I'll definitely be playing tomorrow morning.

Question: how's the music? Because the first game's soundtrack rocked hardcore. I still queue up The True Mirror on iTunes every once in a while a year after I beat the first game.

More of the same. Celtic-ish with sprinkles of rock guitar everywhere. I like it. Nothing memorable so far, but I've only been playing it 4 hours. :p

But yeah, you'll like it.
