Hey Matt. It doesn't seem like Super Paper Mario for the GCN is coming out on October 9th (given that it hasn't been released in Japan yet, and everyone but Nintendo has the game listed as Q4 '06 or Q1 '07). I know you vaguely hinted at games for another console being moved onto Wii instead. So is there any chance Nintendo is going to move Super Paper Mario onto Wii? Or was that just a one-time deal with Zelda?

Matt responds: Hmm. How should I write this? Have to be vague, you know? Let me just say that yes, Paper Mario will be headed to Wii and not GameCube. Now read between the lines, damn you!

And now my #1 reason for getting a Wii.

Seems odd to only do the one. They should've done it similar to how Zelda is being done, make it unique enough to want the Wii version but still have the GCN version for people who can't afford a Wii yet.

:uhh:

"I sure hope that, instead of releasing my most anticipated game on a system I already own, Sony decides to hold Valkyrie Profile 2 for the PS3 so that I have a reason to spend $600."

:eyes:

What an awfully evil ploy. As if the Twilight Princess wasn't bad enough.

I was gonna play it on Wii anyway if I got since need it to hook up to my comp monitor...having no TV as of now my GC is useless...actually the main reason for getting the Wii is to hook up to my monitor...perhaps I'll get back into Pikmin 2 then.

From the vids though there was a little cursor that you control so actually does make more sense to use the Wiimote for that.

Aww, I was looking forward to this.

Let's see, Gamecube stuff left to buy. Baten Kaitos Origins, and Donkey Kong: Bongo Blast. Looks good.

has this super paper mario been under the radar? I hadn't heard of it till like 3 weeks ago.

It's been hyped since its E3 showing. Although Gamecube stuff was slightly played down to accomodate the massive Wii, DS and GBA stuff, I was all over it.
