The fall is upon us, and that means new and returning TV shows will be upon us as well. So what will you be watching?
This is what my schedule seems to look like right now. It could change, but I doubt it will:
Sunday:
8pm "The Simpsons" (Fox; September 10)
Monday:
10pm "CSI: Miami" (CBS; September 18)
Tuesday:
N/A
Wednesday:
10pm "CSI: NY" (CBS; September 20)
10pm "South Park" (Comedy Central; October 4)
Thursday:
12am "South Park" (if I don't watch Wednesday's 10pm showing of CSI: NY)
9pm "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS; September 21)
Friday:
N/A
Saturday:
10am "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward" (Fox [4Kids]; September 9)
11:30pm "Saturday Night Live" (NBC; September 30)
I know, it's not very huge. My interest isn't piqued by any of the upcoming new shows either. It might be a good thing though, since I won't be watching too much TV.
I'd put King of the Hill up there, but the new season doesn't start until 2007. I believe it starts January 7.
Episodes of CSI: NY and South Park premiere at the same time on Wednesdays. So I'll watch CSI: NY, and then tape the second showing of a South Park episode at midnight if it's new, and watch it sometime later. I watch Wednesday's 10pm showing of South Park if it's even a new episode and CSI: NY is a repeat.
I'm considering just taping TMNTFF episodes on Saturdays instead of actually watching them. It marks the series' sixth season, and the fourth season finished in May. Only those who subscribe to Comcast digital cable will be able to see the fifth season ondemand, but its 13 episodes will also be put out on DVD one day. So maybe I won't watch the sixth season until I watch the fifth seaon's episodes on DVD. Actually the sixth season has already more or less started since July 29. They've just been showing the first three episodes of it since then, and will keep repeating them until September 30.
