Yup. You heard correctly. I broke my talus bone. It is the bone that holds the two leg bones. So I am in a cast and on crutches for 6-8 weeks. :(
The talus bone is this : http://www.podiatrychannel.com/anatomy/
Well, I do not want this thread to be a sympathy thread for me, so I want you all to post what bones you have broken!

None! :D
I had to tape my pinky toe once though because it might have fractured but the doctor wasn't sure and it didn't matter much anyway so we just taped it to the toe next to it. I'm a very careful person and I drink a lot of milk!

I broke my Talus before. I was in football and 2 guys slammed into me at once. One hit my knee and breaking my talus, the other was arm. It was a 2 month hell.
I bruised my tailbone once. Sat down on the arm of an oak chair instead of the chair itself. You can't sit down for about a week after that.

I'm the only one in my family :p
My dad was playing football (soccer) about 10 years ago. One of his friends tried to hit the ball, but kicked my dad's leg. Some people say they heard the bone break. It was his tibia (I'm not sure if it's called "tibia" in English - it's the longest bone in the body).
Two other friends rushed him to the hospital. The doctor put the cast on so quickly, it was put on wrong. A few weeks later, the dr. found that out, and, this time, put it on the right way.
But because of the first wrong, my dad was in cast for 8 months. If it was 9, I wouldn't be here writing these :).
Oh, and I once fractured my wrist. Fell on it 3 times in a week. The first hurt like crazy. The others weren't that much, but I had to stay in cast for 3 weeks.
My bro fell out of bed and broke his elbow. And once I fell on my bro, and I broke his shoulder.
That's all.

*Shrugs*... so be it.
 What did you go and do that for you stupid nonce, that wasn't very clever was it.
I have never broken any bones... well tachnically I have but never any of my own bones. I have severly injured myself before, I tore all the ligaments in my ankle and was on crutches for 6 months, bone heals quicker than wounds such as the one I sustained.

Oh really?
I will remedy that for you, we wouldn't want you being the odd one out now would we.
*Punches Shooter's face in*
*Busts his arms*
*Snaps his legs*
That should do the trick ;)

Can I ask you how you broke it Joeiss?
I've had a lot of sprained ankles, and scrapes, but the only bone I broke was my left arm when I was about 9.

I've only broken my right arm and that's it. Thank my brother for that. It's also partially my fault for being on the trampoline with him.

I broke my collar bone. It was a sliding accident when I was 10. I slammed into a tree, it hit directly onto my collar bone, I had those vest-casts for about 3 months...
I was playing football earlier today and I really streched two muscles in my neck. I can't bend it left or up and down. :(

No. You cannot ask.
Alright, I won't be mean. I was playing road hockey and I got slashed across the ankle. It hurt like hell for about two minutes, but then it was fine for the next three hours. My brother picked me up, and in the car it started hurting like hell. So I went to the hospital, got xrays, doctor showed me the crack, and I got a cast on. Tomorrow I see the specialist. Wish me luck!

I broke my left thumb making a diving catch in baseball 3 years ago. I also broke a bone in my back playing football, hence no football anymore...

I've torn two ligaments in my right ankle. Badly. I'm still kinda recovering, and it happened 7 months ago.
I've blown out my knee. The knee cap was knocked out of position, and wasn't alligned with my cartalidge. Couldn't walk for about 3 weeks.
I've pulled lower back muscles very badly. 4 months of physio.
But no broken bones.
I've only broken other peoples' bones. Jaw and an arm. One was a fluke, the other was self defense. I'm a lover, not a fighter ;)
