What are the latest Wii details?

What have you guys heard as the release date? Is it still this fall? Or is it next spring?

Any confirmation on the prices for downloading retro games?

I'm extremely interested in purchasing a Wii, but haven't been able to keep up on the latest details.

Fall is the release date.

The Virtual Console games don't have official prices yet.

There was an unconfirmed thing the other day I saw on a site (not some off looking site) where I guess some guy got a Nintendo employee drunk enough and he slipped out October 30th in Japan with a US release 1-2 weeks after that.

But...as said, hard to confirm that without it on tape :p

I geuss I was most interested in the virtual console business, which is one of the main reasons I'll be buying the Wii.

ha, you honestly believe that anyone besides the super high-ups at nintendo know when the release date will be? In fact, I doubt theyve even decided on a definate date yet...
