Well everybody, I have bought a 2 bedroom unit and will be moving into it next weekend. I am very excited as I have been living @ home all 26 years of my life. Living at home has helped me to save money for a deposit. This is not as scary, but nearly as exciting as coming out (which I did @ 24).

More importantly, my brother asked me what I wanted for my moving in gift. Jokingly I said an Xbox360, and now I am about 90% sure he is serious about getting me 1. After watching the MS E3 conference, I am glad to be a "soon to be" owner of a 360.

So what games do you guys recommend getting? Please no racing games :)

Really the only thing that I care for currently available on the X360 is Oblivion. So if you like long-winded RPGs, check it out. Other than that...eh, some people might recommend Kameo or Perfect Dark for its multiplayer. You'll see some good stuff released this fall, for sure.

Yeah Oblivion looks great. I'm holding out that it will be ported to the PS3, but I may break down and get a 360 at some point.

I'm a fan of Tomb Raider Legends.

Also GRAW looks awesome. Some damn pretty visuals.

Kameo is also a cool title.

Congratulations on buying your own home! There's no greater sense of security then that which comes with owning your own home.

Well you can walk around naked now, or at least freely.

Oblivion is cool, it's like a 3D diablo, not as fast paced. I liked the game a lot, but didn't have the time to invest in it. So I got tired of playing 20 minute blocks and gave up. But it's a fun game, pretty damn expansive. Lots to do.

Microwave a grape cut in half. But connected by it's skin.

Kind of like the number "8" rotated 90 degrees.

Set it face-up, and set that baby to 10 seconds or so. It'll blow your mind.

lol, not the innocent grape itself. The free-floating ball of plasma that develops might though.

Thank god, I thought I was the only one.

Anyways, I much recomend what the others already have, but also adding Fight Night Round 3, if you're into that kind of game.

Sorry you're not getting an Xbox, mate. :-(

I like to microwave hot-pockets.

I know it hurts :(

I don't know if we have those in Sydney, but I think we have something similar.

Maybe I can sell my PSP and save up for one. How much do 2nd hand psp's sell for these days?

You know why I didn't start a "what game should I get" thread? Because the free Xbox Live it comes with is absolutely fantastic.

I haven't bought any games yet. I've just downloaded demos - and I am thoroughly impressed.

Great news (possibly). My bro said that if I pitch in a bit he will get me a 360. I just gotta sell my Xbox/Ps2 games and hopefully get enuff money to meet him 1/4 way or so. Yay. Let's hope it all eventuates. I think he wants me to play on xbox live (ghost recon)
