Nintendo is probably pretty bored in their booth, someone go stand in line!

I would not stand in a long that long.

But it is good to see Nintendo reigning supreme in a new era of glory. Just like the ol' 64 days. It feels good to be on top again.

you have to deticate an entire day for just that booth.

That's just crazy. Too bad Nintendo didn't have MORE Wiis instead of waiting space.

I wouldn't even wait in that line @.@

The average walking speed of a human is 5 kmh, or 3 mph (so says Wikipedia). The line ends at 2 minutes, 10 seconds in the video. With some quick math, we come to conclusion that the line is about 180 meters, or 600 feet. Not bad, not bad at all..

Nintendo seems to be doing something right, that line alone is proof.

Anybody vote on the GameFAQs poll of the day? The past 3 polls were all about E3 and the next-gen consoles, and the Wii was always on top. Today the question was "which systems games impressed you the most", and the Wii had more than twice the votes PS3 had. Good start, imo..

It's an absolutely ridiculous line, about the size of the one Zelda had last year. Nintendo has literally no Gamecube or Gameboy games at its booth this year, it's all about Wii and a little Nintendo DS section. I really think it was poorly designed; people can easily walk into the Sony and Microsoft booths and play the PS3 or Xbox360.

The whole thing can be avoided with a press badge though, so sucks for these people.

they want that tho, companies will put less out then needed on purpose because it makes lines, gets peoples attention when theres lines and builds hype up. same as releasing less systems then needed to create shortages, which also builds hype.

What, there's no Super Paper Mario, Donkey Kong: Bongo Blast, Baten Kaitos Origins, or anything? Not even a hidden-away corner? :(

I think they were showing/demoing a few new GCN titles to members of the press, but on the public floor it's stricly about the Wii. I was very disappointed to not see Super Paper Mario there.

I got lucky at last year's E3 with Zelda. It was 430 and they wouldnt guarantee I'd make it in to try it since htey closed at 6 (entire place did I think) but stayed in anyways just in case.

I get bored, pull out my shiny still new at the time DS I bought a week before E3. I get on Pictochat to see if others are. There was a few in line that were. Then one of the employees at hte booth sees 2 of us in line playing it, says "Since you guys are supporting Nintendo with the DS, we're gonna pull you in front and right in" so we both walk in front of all these people, and right in. Playing Twilight Princess and whatnot.

Very memorable moment and thats why im glad to be a Nintendo preferred person ;)

I heard that you get 3 minutes of playtime or so. I don't know if the wait is worth 3 minutes of playtime....

Well when I waited the 45 minutes to an hour at PAX, then 5 minutes I got was great.

My big thing is I suck so it takes me like 3 minutes to figure out what buttons to push.

When I went to the San Francisco Cube Club for the premiere of the Cube, it took me a little time to figure out Smash Bros.

Same thing with me at the NYC Cube Club...and yet BAB forever holds his win against me there. Hopefully once Brawl goes online he'll say different.

That's good to see because I was just arguing with a friend last night because he was saying that Nintendo was going to be last in the running for this generation of consoles.

Well that's the cool thing about Wii isn't it? :D
