...is not online yet. Sorry. >.> In the mean time, take a look at some of these screens.
This, my friends, is what a $600 game looks like.

I like how it looks, doesn't mean I'll shell out $600 yet, heh

How do we know they're not just FMVs or something?

I'd easily pay 600 for that.
My computer was 4000, and the games it's capable of playing at this point are probably worse than that.
PS. Rock on, mustcahe and mullet combo.

They are real-time shots. I'm not gonna get into a whole thing about it and explain all the reasons why, but just know that they are in-game, and real time.

uhhh...dropping $4,000 on a computer is laughable. When did you spend that much?
Granted, Dell has $9,000 comptuers but its a complete waste of money when I'd rather spend $1,000-$2,000 and squeak it out more, hence my current computer. Can't play games at great resolutions like it could a few years ago but it still plays games damn well with the minor fluff off. (9800Pro)

Last year, but granted about 1000 of it went to the speakers and sub.
So the computer itself was maybe really only 2500 or 3000 or around there.
But I'd rather still buy a PS3, than a new computer, and then get a new video and sound card.

Oh man. The new villains are probably going to have wacky nanobots to give them super-human power.
And hopefully none of them shoot bees out of their mouth like in MGS3.

Ok, The Pain totally had a mask covering his mouth. These rumors of so-called "bee shots" releasing from his tooth-filled orifice are an outright lie, and I demand that they are put to an end this instance.
Moving on, did you guys see Wario's super-powered fart in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? lol

"According to a 1up.com video post, Hideo Kojima has admitted that the Xbox 360 is capable of running the Metal Gear Solid 4 real-time demo. Despite the PlayStation 3 propaganda on display throughout the demo, Kojima's comments reaffirm many gamers' opinions that the two next-gen consoles aren't separated by much in terms of sheer graphical power."
Interesting.

I've no doubt in my mind that Hideo and co. can produce amazing looking games on any of the three new consoles.

Wow, that was a pretty sweet trailer.
I've never played through a full Metal Gear game before but they've always been pretty fun.

you really should...the storyline and gameplay hit their peaks towards the end of the respective MGS games
i was never much of an action/stealth fan but once I played Metal Gear Solid in 2000, I was hooked...easily one of my top 10 (probably top 5) games of all time, and MGS2 and MGS3 are not far behind

I loved the original MGS, then played MGS2 and loved it (except I was confused by the ending). Never played 3 tho :( I heard it's one of the best ones?

Part 3 is awesome. The new subsistance version has made it my favorite of the three games.

I beat about half of the first one, it was a ton of fun. I did play through a lot of the second one, and that also was a lot of fun. My biggest isue is that I don't have a PS2. :p
However, both MGS and MGS2 are on the PC, and I have a controller....and I got friends to leech off of for MGS3.

All signs point to 360.

Kojima has stated numerous times that Metal Gear Solid is a PlayStation franchise, and that if he ever made a game for another console it would be completely different.

Like Twin Snakes and MGS 2: Substance...
It may be a PlayStation franchise but not above porting it elsewhere.
G#dd@mnit why does it have to be so expensive?
