you could say that about everything about to happen at E3...whats the point of pointing that out?
Those look a lot more "real" than Killzone.

I'm sure you could say you want to see a lot of things in video form as well. Why point it out? Why point out that it looks more "real" than Killzone, when, hopefully, there'll be more games as E3 that are same? Because this is a forum for discussion, for sharing your thoughts on various topics, and those were my thoughts on there being screens for FFXIII before I've even played FFXII. Besides, will you point out any other sequels in a series that are being announced before the previous games have been released?
And what makes it more ridiculous is that they've actually announced a sequel to FFXIII as well. Darn it.

The beauty of the Final Fantasy series. There will ALWAYS be a sequel. So it is safe to announce it way before it comes out.

I think its because technically, FFXIII (?) doesn't have to render as much it seems. Look at racing games. They look so much better then some other games because they have to render less things at once or whatnot.
but this is no excuse for what looks very superb. Just saying games that don't have to do as much on screen at once can pump out more poly's :p
Still very pretty :D
