In this month's EGM. Which just hit news stands!

$249 Price tag
Virtual Console (we knew this)
3d Controlle (we knew this)
ALWAYS online (console is always online, even when OFF)
Built in speaker on the controller

-No improved graphics on Virtual Console (as in, they aren't redoing the models, doesn't talk about framerates and such).
-TG16 will have it's 1st party games out at launch, 3rd party will come later as demand increases.
-Estimated prices for the VC are "a few dollars for NES, $5 for SNES and $10 for N64"
-VC games are pro-scan enabled.
-$250 "seems appropriate"
-More 3rd party exclusives than the Cube

-Zelda is 80% complete, delay was for graphic tweaks, wii functions and because they want the game to be measured on a scale of 1 to 120 instead of 1 to 100.
-NO SWINGING THE CONTROLLER for the sword, you just press a button. There are some cases where you will swing though. Reason = you'll get tired too fast
-Controller does sound effects
-Widescreen on the REV only!
-Navi is only when you play on the REV.
-Something with online is planned but no battle mode.
-More dungeons than OOT already
-More items too

I'd like it more if the sound came from, you know, the TV directly, and only.

The sound coming from the controller itself would make it sort of feel like one of those cheesy little kid swords that clink when you push a button.

250 is high, considering that the wii is like Gamecube 1.5 with a virtual controller.

Yes, that is all it is. Unfortunately the virtual controller takes too much horsepower so the graphics will be more like N64.5. And you can only play Gamecube games on it. And the virtual console is so virtual that it doesn't even really exist. They're just lying to make people buy it.

And they're calling it Wii so people will be like, "Oh, that has little i's in it like the iPod, I must buy!" and spend $250 on little brick with a wand. That doesn't even really play Gamecube games. I was just kidding earlier. It only has Pong.

$249.99 is high for a Gamecube 1.5 with online, diff controller, and a vitrual console.

I hope its $199.99 :(

What if MS wants to take a hit on profits to piss off Ninty and drop the price of the basic 360 to $249.99? :D

What about the untypical gamer who wouldn't tire from swinging his arm while seated on a couch, you know, the gamers that are healthy and in shape?
