Well it looks like they fixed the issue with the weapons all being on the same angle. Graphically, this game looks even better than it did in the previous screens (which were impressive).

Also included in the new preview at IGN, there are many more sp[ecial abilities with different troop types, more and more difficult terrain and and more and smoother battle animations.

I'm so excited by balls are twitching... because I stroke them when I think about Medieval 2.

I love the pictures of grand armies. Differently angled weapons isn't all that important to me but I suppose it adds a pinch of realism.

I'm a bigger fan of games that put emphasis on Micromanagement. Starcraft, or maybe C&C are the biggest armies I really like. Eventually, games like that will need multiple people.

I'm pretty sure this game is micromanagement, to a degree.

Think, Total War, I believe.

You are correct, sir. This game has a high level of micromanagement, but it is turn-based. Most reviers point out that this the management portion of the game ould stand alone if need be, and is most comparable to the Civilization series

In fact, the management of this game is being turned way up from earlier Total War games. Religion is back and bigger than ever. You will be able to, and will need to, send out priests, alims, assassins, spies, inquisitions... and yes... CRUSADES and JIHADS... if you expect to do well in this game.

But for the love coems with the real time battles. Just war on a massive scale, and with the later time period, there will be cannon fire and muskets.

There will be blood by the gallon and I will relish in my coming baptismal. Well, once I build my new friggin' PC that will be able to run this monster.
