SUIKODEN V REVELATION

For those who are iffy about spending your green on this game because of past disappointments you will not be disappointed in this installment. I've finished the game after 55 hours of gameplay and thats not just flowing through the game without trying to recruit the notorious 108 stars. This is a long game, very long and the story is epic just like previous storylines. There are many points in this game that make this one such an epiphany after past disappointments (III, and IV). The battle system is back to the 6 member battles, which is AWESOME because you can finally utilize more of the Stars of Destiny rather then 3 people. The RUNE spells are beautiful worked and the graphics are gorgeous.... I mean, they are so much more beautiful then III and IV, which were upsetting attempts by Konami to bring Suiko into the 3d world.

But.. V.... is... SOOOO good. This game did not disappoint at all.

Please tell me there are Suiko fans here?

I liked 1 and 2.. 3 was "ok".. and I never played 4.

It better be good. Damn thing LOOKS good, but how can I be sure? I'm too lazy to rent, so whenever I get around to buying it, it had freakin better be awesome and make me forget about that abysmal piece of crap that came before it. You know the game of which I speak, but I will not utter its name.

I'm a big Suikoden fan.

I finished the first on a little while ago and am playing through II right now.

I actually really like III but like everyone else, thought IV was a terrible abortion of a game.

I'm going to finish II, replay III, and then I'll go out and buy V.
