K well I have seen them once before and let me tell you that they are totally awesome. They are a must see! When i found out that they were coming back i just had to go. So i told Swan about it and we decided to go together. We will probably bus it downtown early and walk around Granville street before we go to the show. We ordered tickets off the interweb, and they finally showed up today! We have row 3 right-centre, an awesome spot. I know the show isn't until May but im so giddy with excitement! :D
Has anyone else been or is going? Swan and I will be sure to post reactions in May when we go! :)

I've never understood why people get excited over cover bands like that.
It makes no sense to me.
But I hope it's good for you..too...baby?

well if you had ever been to one of their shows you'd know that its pretty accurate. They do it all, its like the closest you'll get to seeing the beatles play.

To me, tribute bands always came off as somewhat silly...
Yes the band has been broken up for over 35 years now, yes half it's members are dead, but that's the way things go, you see... You have all their recorded music and live performances, and the trillion bands who were influenced by them...
And, to me, the way tribute bands try to replicate every single detail comes off as creepy more than anything else... In a strange, obsessive sort of way...
They probably have little people in their head telling them to quit "Rain" and try to find their own success as musicians, but they ignore them and march on...

Thank you!
I just sort of see it as wierd. Living vicariously through someone else. It doesntmake sense to me.
I wouldnt want to pay money to go meet some guy that looks like Wayne Gretzky, so why would you want to go to a show with people who sound like the Beatles?
