Read and watch the video. Now I await to see what excuse the White House and Chertoff comes up for the now seen as outright lies for why they didnt get things rolling sooner.

I thought it was already known that they were warned before hand.
Or am I thinking of 9/11?

While the Bush administration is certainly responsible for many of the problems that arouse during Hurricane Katrina, I want to know who was in charge when the levees were made. Apparently, due to costs, they made lower-quality levees in order to meet funds. Ultimately, when you have a city so close to the ocean, you want to not cheap out on the levees.
I don’t like cut and paste news clips. The loss of sense of time and the lack of other perspectives besides Mr. B makes the whole situation misleading.

People were skeptical that they didnt know how bad it could be ahead of time but hard proof finally arose saying otherwise to confirm people's suspicions.

They knew... and in my opinion they were a big contributor to the losses that were felt around America...
That is all...

No one can predict the weather with 100% accuracy. No one.
Guilty of slow response, probably.
Guilty of knowing of a coming storm of epic proportions and giant strength, probably not.
The fact that the majority of the levees protecting the poor parts of the city broke and the levees protecting the rich parts of the city didn't break is no coincidence.

Also, a lot of people that were supposed to leave didn't.
Call it love of home, or arrogance, but that's not in the control of the Bush administration.
I realize that evacuating a whole city is impossible, even with a week of time, but they had warnings out a week in advance.

wha...whoa....did I just hear Bond say something negative about the current government? Or did I somehow read that wrong? If im correct, mark this day down in the calendar, or something.

I agree. And Bush obviously manufactured Katrina using the CIA's top secret weather modification net.
Bush is also responsible for the "server too busy" messages.

I heard all about this on the news this morning.

If Bond isn't being sarcastic, I think he might be simply suggesting that the levees built in sections that contribute fewer tax dollars to its construction were lower quality because, well, less money was used in their construction.
But I'm not a mind reader.

Most of the people left behind were poor or elderly or otherwise injured. True, there were some people who stayed behind when they shouldn't have, but a large number of them were literally unable to leave.
As for forewarnings about Katrina's effects on New Orleans, that's no surprise at all. The National Archives could have told anybody who cared to listen what a hurricane would do to the city, and those people are a bunch of librarians.

They should have deployed troops beforehand!
