What we do know is that the Origami Project is real, and that it can apparently play Halo in some form. That much was confirmed by a Microsoft spokeswoman, after a video of the device appeared on marketing agency Digital Kitchen's website. She told silicon.com:
"While Origami is a concept we've been working on with partners, please know that the video seen on Digital Kitchen’s web site is a year old and represents our initial exploration into this form factor, including possible uses and scenarios."
The video has since been pulled from Digital Kitchen's website, but is available at YouTube by clicking on this link. In addition to Halo, it shows a variety of other applications running on the device, as well as input using a keyboard and stylus. The device is also notable for its size, which is much larger than either the PSP or DS.
Microsoft has since launched a website on the device, which reveals that further details will be announced on March 2nd.
