View Full Version : No HDMI or DVI? No HD DVD for you!

Yep, as the title states, if you dont have either an HDMI or DVI input on the back of your fancy new HDTV, you wont be watching HD DVDs, or you will be watching them with a severely downgraded picture quality. And even if you do have a HDMI or DVI port on your TV (Mine has 1 single DVI), you probably allready have something connected to it, causing even more problems. Not a happy story.

This has been known for years. But the native output for HD-DVD is supposed to be 1080p, and by the time you buy the TV to support it, you'll have HDMI.

Then again, HD-DVD isn't going anywhere. The response I keep hearing from CES is "Not impressed."
