View Full Version : Recall
So I was thinking of a topic that I could actually make in the Black Project forum and I came up with this:
Have you ever started to make a post and then post and not post it? If so why and how many times have you done this?
I know personally I have done this tens of times, usually because it may have offended someone or it was pointless.

Umm... Maybe once... But I don't remember any in the recent past.

Yeah, occasionally. I'll read it and decide its pointless or that I just didn't write it very well or whatnot. Sometimes I'll post it and immediately erase it....

I've done this tens of times as well..
Yeah, loads of times.
My most recent was... yesterday.
I was going to make a thread in Ol' Skool asking why there was no mod then I decided to post it in feedback, I started to make the thread then changed my mind, I decided I could'nt be arsed and would wait and see what heppened, but since I have now brought the subject forward, why exactly is there no mod for Ol' Skool? I'll do it if you want:D

I've dont this prolly more than a hundred times.
Usually because I read it after I was done and realized it was stupid.

Yes, same reason as Bond. Usually it was too harsh or mean or just plain stupid. Unfortunately, sometimes I can't erase it because someone posts right after me. In the event this occurs I edit in hopes no one notices... :D

Yeah I've done it. Mainly because I was tired and the stuff I was saying didn't make sense.

To the people who said that it was too harsh, who was it directed to? And what were you going to say?

I always write dumb stuff, so I often end up deleting what I just wrote. I've really gotta stop doing that because that is part of the reason my post count is so low.

I delete already written posts mainly for two reasons:
1. It has already been addressed, and I didn't realize it until later.
2. It wasn't deep enough (okay, fine. That's another way of saying I delete posts that aren't long enough. Happy now?)
It actually doesn't happen too often to me because I just have a tendency to run on for a few paragraphs if I really let myself.
