You know the rules: pick all 12 playoff teams, rank them 1-12. Every time they win, you get that many points. Try and make your first weekend's losers your 1-4.

I'll post my picks later in the week, till then, get going.

curious

who won the first two?

I know I won one of them, I think I might've won both but I cant remember.

(best pool of the year, by the way)

this'll be fun when I know who the 12 teams are...

KillerGremlin

Yuck.

NFC:
New York Giants
Washington Redskins
Chicago Bears
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Carolina Panthers
Seatle Seahawks

AFC:

This will require a bit of thinking, I'll post my points tomorrow. It's late, I need to work out tomorrow in like 6 hours...I'm tired. Yada yada yeah. So ummm...those are the teams, incoherent spelling errors pending. Me=tired.

I wont go in on the pool.

But I will however say all of my support is behind the Seahawks. :(

You might have won both. You won in 03, I found that sheet, did you win last year?

I actually think Stu won both years. Maybe I'll have a chance this time since the Packers aren't in the playoffs.

Will the Bears be getting your 12, Stonecutter?

They'll be my 11 because I think they're better than Seattle.

My 12 will be an AFC team.

Damnit, I meant to switch Tampa Bay and Washington before the game started. Oh well.

KillerGremlin
01-07-2006, 07:53 PM
That was gay. When your defense plays that good, you deserve to win. Washington is going down, hard, next week.

If the Jaguars beat the Patriots I am probably going to go hang myself in my garage.

That was gay. When your defense plays that good, you deserve to win.

If you want to talk about "Deserving to win", I could always mention how the Redskins would have beat Tampa Bay during the regular season had the Refs not given TB credit for the 2 point conversion when further reviewing showed that there was no way the ball could have crossed that line...

And if that play would have been called correctly, the Skins would have won and ended up division champs and had home field advantage (I believe) against I dunno who...

But none of that matters now, seeing as how they made the playoffs anyways and just knocked TB out :>

And next up is Seattle, whom the Skins beat in the regular season, and hopefully will beat again here in the post-season... :>

KillerGremlin

Yes, it's all good, it's all good.

Until you play Chicago.

Until you play Chicago.

I believe we beat Chicago during the regular season as well... 'Course that doesn't mean we'll beat 'em again, it just makes them seem like slightly less of a threat... :>

But we might not even have to play 'em, depending on wether or not one (or both) of them get knocked out before that potential match-up... :sneaky:

Who the **** is we? You got a mouse in your pocket?

Well, I'm saying "We" as if the Redskins are my team... You see I am what they call a 'Redskins fan', being that they are from Washington DC (despite their stadium being in like... Landover, MD), and Arlington is right across the river...

Fans sometimes say "We beat so and so, we did this we did that" when referring to the team they are a fan of... :>

Great... first two games and I'm already in last place... just great...

Don't feel too bad, I gave Tampa 6 points too. I figured with their awesome defense, that played awesome today, their offense would you know...not give the ball up 47 times.

I'm really not confident in this ordering at all and I may change it later:

(x) 1. Jacksonville Jaguars (0)
(x) 2. Washington Redskins (2)
(x) 3. New York Giants (0)
(x) 4. Cincinnati Bengals (0)
5. Carolina Panthers (5)
(x) 6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0)
7. Pittsburgh Steelers (7)
8. Chicago Bears
9. Denver Broncos
10. New England Patriots (10)
11. Seattle Seahawks (11)
12. Indianapolis Colts
Twelve points is good enough for now. The two games today should knock out some of the middle teams in our orders.
