It's been a little over 4 years since this game came out. If you're tired if it already, you're clearly not trying hard enough.

Ok, let's get the obvious out of the way first. You take Nintendo characters from across all generations and titles and put them into a simple fighting game. Hell, the game could play and look like ass and it would still be cool enough to warrant a passing fascination.
SSB:M not only looked great when it came out, it still holds up pretty well, and it's one of the most fun fighters ever made. The gameplay, controls and music are fantastic, and the music and stages fit the games motif so perfectly. You get the feeling that Nintendo (Hudson) made this game thinking like fans.
There's SO much to do in this game though, the number of modes is unreal, the minigames, the trophies and, of course, the 4 player multiplayer make it one of the most replayable games ever.
If you want to argue that SSB:M isn't one of the 10 best games of this generation, fine, but you're not going to get very far, here or anywhere else.

BTW, I Didn't forget about this, I just decided to space it out a little bit to give people more time to post their thoughts about each title. #7 should be up before the new year.
