Infinity (http://www.fl-tw.com/Infinity/infinity_overview.php) is the name, and constant creation of billions of planet for players to ravage through is the game...I think.

Something to keep an eye on. Would be nice if there were some spacecraft designs up.

the concept sounds cool... I wouldn't mind giving it a shot... although I already know the location of Earth.... in the Milky Way Galaxy.......
would be pretty easy?

This looks innovative! I think you need a pretty powerful system to enjoy it though. What is everyone's screen name?

Darn, I was hoping to snag a wallpaper for my desktop. Finding wallpapers for 1152x864 is impossible.

You can use the 1600 x 1200 wallpaper at the site. When you use it as wallpaper you can resize it to fit the screen.

or just take it to photoshop and resize it and then optimize it for the desktop. :p

i'm surprised this hasn't been asked yet, but is it pay to play? or will it be?

in all honesty something this large should be a subscription based game.... however that doesn't mean I want it to be :p
If they charge me $59.99 to buy the game and then play it for free, I wouldn't mind.
If they charge me $49.99 and sharge $19.99/month, It's justified in my opinion but then I wouldn't want to play it.
What is each galaxy it's own server or something?

a game aiming to be as big as this one would need a redundant server for all "walks of life." It would make sense considering the how much bandwidth one server would need to not only host the whole game but to transfer data to the players. It would only make sense to host each galaxy on a different server.
